I purchased this item as I needed a usb with lightening connector to use with Ipad/Iphone and I wanted something small as small as possible to attach to a key chain. Overall appears to be working well for my needs. Note I'm not planning to use this to data any device backups or large file/group file transfers I'm not sure how the bulk data transfer rate would be like.The device seems well made and I like having the protectors for each of the connectors.I thought this had a loop for attaching to a key chain, on inspection it does not so will be looking for some kind of usb holder that I can attach to a keychain and stick this in it.The device works fine with an iPad AIR and iPhone SE both running latest versions of their respective ios.When first inserting usb the device will prompt to download the vendors app for the appstore. That was pretty seamless process.The vendors app is required to access the usb contents. I had hoped that as this is Apple Mfi certified that I could have used the native Apple iOS app "Files" app to access the usb, at least with my iPhone SE ( Ipad Air does not support latest/greatest iOS that provides usb access). Not sure if this would be the case for the newer Apple hardware or not, perhaps the vendor can comment on this or update the listing.Would be nice to not have to use the vendor app and use the native Files App or at a minimum have the vendor app be "files aware" to that it could appear as a location within the Files App.The app works fine though I have not used many of the functions, mainly the browse and share functions. I did look at the three lock options (app, lightening , usb) within the app and those required that I register with the vendor to use those functions, not sure why it needs that so I gave up attempting to use those functions.In addition to using the usb with lightening connection I also used the USB connector to access the USB via a regular pc, that worked fine. Overall I'm happy with the product for what I need it to do, the main feature for me against the alternatives being the small size.

We all have know someone who can’t remember their login PW to back up the phone and call when the have to do it. I got this for the ‘rents so they can just plug it in and not worry about losing the grandkids pictures.

Did not come with instructions. However, after you find the right app it works well. Does not allow transfer of all phone data for loaded apps and games. Only transfers contacts, pictures, and music.

I just like the idea that i can use it either ways.

I had over 1,000 photos on my iPhone XS and have tried many different options/apps to download to my PC. This device works well and and made the task easy, quick and painless. For me it is terrific.

Works great. And how could you beat the price? Nice and small and 32 GB of additional space for all the photos that I have in my 64 GB iPhone 6s Plus. I tried two different Lexar products and I could never get either one to be recognized on the phone. The Gigastone was immediately recognized after I downloaded the app. I've already transferred some photos to my computer.

What I dislike. NOTHING. What did I like. Everything about this product. I was able to effortlessly move many of my pictures and videos from my 16 gig iPhone 6 freeing up valuable space. With the app and this device, right out of the box it is so easy to use

Excellent product. Easily transfer all important files/pictures from iPhone to this device. Free up storage from your iPhone easily with this. I would definitely recommend this product.

The external drive is perfect for backing up photos and contacts that is efficient and portable

Needs adapter for new ipads with usb-c.

This is the second Gigastone flash drive I have used. The first (bought a few years ago) was 32Gb capacity, used so much it is almost full, so decided to buy a second with larger capacity. Very satisfied user.
