Did the job and pretty looking!
This collar is clamped perfectly to a 1" O.D. bar and is used as a stop on a rail. The stainless finish was brushed and gave a really clean look when installed. The hex socket screws were easy to use and tighten and haven't loosened despite being abused a little bit.Removal and relocation was easy and the clamp didn't leave marks where it had been installed, butThis is a high quality collar and an overall good value.

The stainless steel quality used for the stop collar is excellent but costly.
I am using this as a bowling ball drill bit stopper collar ring for Jo Po thumb inserts. I am using the 1” inside diameter stainless steel stop ring collar with a Jayhawk brand 1 1/2” bowling ball drill bit. The top part of the 1 1/2” drill bit is 1”. This 1” stop collar ring fits perfectly and uses a 6 point hex 3/16” bit to tighten or loosen the bolt. If you only have a hex set in mm units, you will not be able to tighten the bolts. I just so happens to have the 3/16” bit in a set that came with both mm and inch format multiple bits. The quality of the stainless steel is excellent. The screw in bolts work as should and make sure to screw in both evenly as this stop ring is made to leave a gap after fully tighten on. 1 inch diameter bit. I would suggest that the company leave a choice to the Amazon customer to choose between mm and inch format for the bolts. i feel this is the best out there in USA made quality. I used a digital caliper to measure 3.22” to the stop of the stop ring before tightening down the bolts. This is Jo Po recommended drilling depth for their outer sleeve ring. Make sure the drill press is precisely set at zero / zero using the thumb slug contoured cutting bit to calibrate the settings. Value for the money is on the higher side but at a few bucks more, I just bit the bullet so I didn’t have to worry about which ones to get. I rate this stainless steel 1” stop collar ring at 5 STARS and will update again later of needed.

Excellent Construction, Excellent Finish, Holds Tight
I used this as a counterweight stop for my telescope counterweights. The weights are around 50 lbs and need to be held tightly in place on a delicate instrument. When they arrived the finish was clean and bright, with no rough edges, and no excess gum or oil. The bolts fit smoothly and tightly, and the collar held the weights tightly in place with no motion. I also tried a competitor, but the fit and finish on these were the best. After seeing both side-by-side, I purchased several more of these.

Ridiculously nice collar
This is an absolute piece of jewelry. Beautiful machining, high quality materials, made in the USA- what's not to like? They are also similarly priced to non-American made alternatives. I used them in place of push nuts to hold new wheels onto my pressure washer. One review mentions that the collar isn't round when fully closed- this is intentional, as if it was, it wouldn't grab the shaft. If you need a shaft collar for anything, these are an obscenely good value. Buy with confidence.

Very nice and good quality but not quite "round"
Very nice and good quality but they are not exactly round when fully clamped together, as I needed (see pics). A bit of an oval shape but they do work and am satisfied with the quality.

Great for improvising
I needed rifle weights in a hurry. I found these and - surprise - they worked very well. I really needed 15mm bore but 0.625" with a mylar backer made these fit snug and not flatten the aluminum threads on the rifle's butt plate carrier. For anyone else who may want to try this, each 0.625" bore collar with screws weights precisely 50 grams. 4 weights in an order gets you 200 grams of weight. As for the collars, themselves, the machining was pristine. On a rifle where everything is stamped "Made In Germany", I really enjoy the irony of having "USA" prominently displayed. I've seen some people complaining about the gap; if it weren't for that gap, these wouldn't have clamped down to 15mm and they wouldn't have worked for me. Nice product.

Smaller than Described, Had to Return as a Result!
I have an older donut shaped weight that was no longer available, in 33mm ID and 39mm ID of similar pricing. The 33 fit perfect but the 39 was too big. I sometimes use the 33 to hold the 39 on which gives a nice weight but I was looking for something closer in size to the 33mm weight. I decided on the 1-3/8" bore as that would be ever so slightly larger. My donut shaped weight was 15mm thick, so two additional at 12mm would fit nicely with 3 weights.I want to start this off in saying that the actual product is nice quality, seems to be polished but does have a slight metallic smell but since it isn't 316L Surgical Stainless that is to be expected. The edges were de-burred but having a square shape leads to sharp corners, especially when trying to install it. My other weight has a fixed pin with a simple allen wrench head that's a different size.I measured the ID of my current weight and it was 33.1mm which is 1.303 decimal inch. This purchased collar has an oval rather than round bore. The last time I checked a bore is a circle. Using my digital micrometer I measured my current ring and it was perfectly round at 33.1mm. The 1-3/8" bore(1.375mm decimal inch) measured as follows(pictured):top to bottom with bolts horizontal to surface: 1.18 decimal inch or 30mmleft to right with bolts horizontal to surface: 1.33 decimal inch or 33.8mmOrdering these in 1.375 or 1-3/8 bore, one would expect them to be a larger ID than 33mm which would be 1.29921 decimal inch. However being oval or flattened slightly makes the overall ID smaller as well as the fact that the widest point was 1.143mm smaller than the described bore size of 1.375 decimal inches which is 34.925mm.Here are those measurements all together for sizing from smallest to largest:1.180in = 30.0mm (This item Top to Bottom)1.303in = 33.1mm (My previously purchased donut ring at 33mm ID)1.330in = 33.8mm (This item Left to Right)1.375in = 34.925mm (This items size as Described)1.143mm (This item was this much smaller than indicated just over 1/16th of an inch nearly 3/32)For my purpose, I needed it to be exact and I had to return for this reason, I am deducting 2 ⭐'because the product was not as described but the overall quality was decent. If using for intended purpose, skin will impress and 1/16th likely won't matter much.
