Great for toddlers
My 3 yr old girl and 4 yr old boy both really like this book/playset. It's basic but gets their imaginations going. We play that you have to touch each vet piece to the animal to make it better.

I bought this for my 2 year old grandson who has speech delays. I had bought another Let's Pretend book in this series and he loved it! This has puzzle pieces all related to the topic of the book. In this case animals and things used to care for animals. What I love about these books is I can work with him in several ways. First, I take each puzzle piece out of the book and tell my grandson what is called and he works at trying to say the word (s). Then I hand it to him and he goes and puts the piece on the coffee table. When we are all done with that, I tell him "Tommy. . . Go get the stethoscope". Then he has to go pick out the stethoscope and place that puzzle piece back in the book which helps him with his fine motor skills. I have purchased 4 of these books and it provides hours of learning and fun for him. And by having him learn the names of the puzzle pieces his speech is improving! If there's one thing I dislike, it would be that the pieces fit very tightly in the book and are often difficult for little hands to get out. So several pieces have gotten damaged from him trying to get the puzzle pieces out of the book. But with the use these books have gotten, and the hours of fun it provides, I'm really happy with these books!
