Q: Will this fit a fourwinds 2003 rv??

Q: How do you secure it to the vent pipe

The base sits around and over the vent pipe. It is secured to the roof of the RV then caulk is applied for a water proof seal.

Q: Is there a Mesh screen on the base to keep bugs out?

Q: It looks like it has a hole in the top, does it?

Thank you for your interest in Danco products and for your inquiry. Yes, there is a hole in the top cap of Danco model number 88181. It is there to add an optional screw to the a post in the flange to prevent the cap from coming off in high winds. The screw is not included.
