Its tiny perfect for keeping in car to kill time waiting. Its quite slow out of the box but it is a crawler. Most Scx24 upgrade parts are not compatible look for team associated sendero upgrades, it's still a great little truck with limited aftermarket parts. Out of the box the RGT is way better built truck over SCX24 slower but better quality OEM parts. (At your own risk a 7.4v will work making RGT1/24 way better than scx24) Know this I will be also purchasing RGT D90 1/24. Axles shaft are thicker than scx24 so the brass hub extension will not work. So there are only really 4(5) upgrade to be done keeping RGT a very affordable 1/24 scale truck, wheel & tires, wheel weight, shocks, battery, servo(1kg not necessary), these few upgrade will transform this truck into a tiny beast. Without wheel weights truck is still prone to rollovers. It is possible to use a complete scx24 axle assembly you will need to purchase two rear axle mounts to connect inner control arms to axles. Overall I am very pleased the RGT quality have purchased the D90 picture above.

This car is fast out of the box and ready to run after you charge the battery. However, you need make sure you are not driving more than 175ft away or so because the range is not the best. One thing to note is that this car has very good stock components for what you pay for (metal gears, shocks etc). I was a RC kid growing up and I love off road buggy’s and trucks. After a week of this stock motor I had to upgrade lol. Picked up the Goolrc 4350KV ($26) burgundy motor and a 5200mah lipo ( $25 for two) this thing took off like a rocket! This car was listed as a “drift car” I don’t agree its a mini RC Tesla. Get some sticky tire and you got yourself a rocket. BTW, you can still drift because the motor is so fast it just spins. Good bang for the buck for under $275 with a new motor, set of new tires and a couple of battery’s this is a excellent buy.

The truck is AMAZINGLY FAST!! The truck is INCREDIBLY DURABLE!! The truck has MIND BLOWING ACCELERATION! Yes it can be damaged (as with anything) especially when you hit a solid something at 40mph but that is to be expected when you play with it like a maniac. I hit a trash can, left front wheel first at top speed and broke the internal steering hub. and bent the shock. I went home, fully assessed the damage, and sure enough, (with a little gorilla glue) I was able to put it back together until my new parts arrive (which is the other amazing thing about these type of cars). Under decent speeds (15-25mph) jumps, collisions, and crashes are endured and the parts hold up pretty good. I have an 8,000mAH 2s LIPO battery and I can get over 90mins out of it at top speeds. A couple of notes and warnings: NOTE- most parts are made and sold from overseas so if you need parts, they won't come immediately. WARNING- I would not advise this car to children needing supervision. This truck is fast and hurt you or someone else. Additionally it can damage property for how fast it goes. WARNING- Do not make electronically modifications if you do not know what you are doing. You WILL DAMAGE THE TRUCK! NOTE: Handle the truck with care and it will last a long time and provide loads of fun. Handle the truck with recklessness and you get what your asking for. OVERALL GREAT TRUCK FOR THE BUY!!!
