The clasp is defective. How do I return it?

I have another watch by these guys and I am going to compare this to the other one I have. I own the LP-10153-03 Odessy Analog Display and that is an amazing watch. It is solid feeling and just really cool. This watch is not that. It is extremely bulky and just doesnt look right. While the movement is incredible the rest of the watch isnt quite as nice. I personally dont like the side of the watch as it isnt smooth. I asked my son which one he liked better and the Odessy got his vote as well.This is a solid watch. It is well made. As stated before, it is heavy, bulky and something is just off about it.This watch does what it says. The movement is really cool and it keeps good time. I can say that about a lot of watches. Dont get me wrong, this is a decent watch. Just compared to some of the other Lucien watches it isnt quite as nice.If you are a collector or someone that just collects watches this could be for you. If you are looking for a decent watch from these guys I would look at other watches.

This is a very stylish, very fun to look at fashion accessory. If you're looking for a watch that you can count on to keep time, look elsewhere.I really wanted to love it and it does have some nice qualities. The band is nice quality, it's weighted nicely and feels great on the wrist, and it's fun to watch the workings of the watch from the face or back. If only those workings were actually functioning to keep time!In order for this watch to keep even remotely accurate time, it must be wound every day. A couple of times since having it, my husband has forgotten to wind it and has had to re-set the watch by HOURS. (I'm not just talking about a minute here or there.) In addition to that irony, it's very frustrating for him to put this watch on his wrist. It has a funky metal mechanism underneath the leather band which I can't even begin to explain. This is not an accessory you can just pick up and put on. It actually takes time and concentration, as this mechanism makes it nearly impossible to find the right hole for the pin.Although this is a cool-looking little object, it simply does not function in any way you need a watch to function. If you're looking for an inexpensive, fashionable timepiece, there are better options out there in this price range. Very disappointing.

This watch is incredibly beautiful. The time face is really gorgeous. It seems to have so much going on within it...it looks more complicated than it really is. I love the black rich looking leather band. I love the distinguished circle of red on the face. I love that it winds when you move your wrist. Now to the iffy and uncertain part. Another reviewer was very frustrated with his watch. There are no specific directions about how to get it on. It is odd. We called Lucien Piccard. They were very kind and very apologetic about the clasp and we were able to follow their instructions and open it, put it on and close it. It is a big watch but it's a fun watch. My husband won't wear it everyday but if you are a bit of a watch collector...this is a cool one to have. My husband has very expensive watches and this one does not look inexpensive. It's fun to wear and it's fun to change out watches.

First. . . I might be the only person in the world who has never seen a “clasp mechanism” like this. . . but it’s “odd” and not in a good way. There are no instructions on how to open / close it. You either have to really pull on the “buckle” part. . . or. . I would recommend you use something to press underneath on the two center squares to pop it out from there. If you pull too hard on the top, it could easily break. The “buckle” itself, which has the “rod” which goes into one of the holes on the band. . . Hold it with the “LP” facing you. Then pull-up on the top to pop it open so that you can thread the band through. . find the hole that works for you. . insert the rod. . . and press down on the top to close it. I find this to be a VERY unusual way to do things. I’d would MUCH rather just thread the band through a “regular” buckle. . .and be done with it. On top of this, I don’t know the “right” way to open it, once you have it on. The way that I’ve been doing it is to pull-up on the band, which will “pop” the clasp open so you can take it off. The only way I would ever use this watch on a regular basis would be to remove the current clasp. . . and put a “regular” buckle on the end. The leather band is really not bad. . . It’s just the clasp which I really do not care for. Instead of having a video which simply shows the watch. . . They should have a video which shows how to open-and-close the clasp.The watch itself. . . I’m no “expert”. . . but I know what I like. . . and this one is a bit “off” for a few reasons. It’s a thick. . heavy. . . clunky. . . Chinese watch. The hands are very thin, and not easy to read. As a matter of fact, it’s VERY hard to read this watch. .. and you can NOT read it at night at all, unless you’re in bright light. Yes, being able to see the movement inside is kind of cool. . .but if you can’t tell what time it is. .. what’s the use? It also looks like an inexpensive watch, of which it is.The “list prices” are just crazy. These are cheap watches Made in China. They certainly are on the “low-end” of watches. Another thing they do that I don’t care for. . . They put paper instructions on how to set the watch inside. . . but for several different types of watches. It’s a piece of paper. They could easily just print what you need for this watch, but they want to save themselves time / money by printing instructions for multiple watches and letting you “find” yours. Again, instruction for opening the clasp are not given, and should have been.Finally. . . It’s the box which impresses me most. The box looks like it costs almost as much as the watch!

This watch is so stylish and easy to wear. It's a great casual look. I really like the blue face of the watch and the straps look nice with the shape of the watch.
