Complete fit
I talked to a representative from Dometic on what I needed for an exact replacement of a heat pump/air conditioner. The lady I talked to told me the part number of the unit that would replace my old one. The old one was 12 years old. The new one not only fit, but came with the exact connections as my old one minus some wiring for the thermostat that had to be spliced. So happy with the new a/c unit!Thank you,Charles Ham

Exactly the AC/Heat Pump unit I needed without the markup!
Received the unit on time. The box looked in terrible shape. I'm not sure if it was a returned item or not. It looked like it had been opened before. The unit itself had no damage, the styrofoam packing was broken and the box didn't contain bolts, manual, or anything other than the unit itself. I was able to download what I needed from Dometic's website.Installation was easy and everything matched up to the10 year old unit I was replacing. This unit works with the Dometic Comfort Control multi zone thermostat. This one is set as zone 1 from the factory and has the Furnace set to on. It's quieter and pushes a lot more volume of air than the previous one. Overall I am happy with the decision to order through here using their payment plan than paying twice as much at a Camping store.

Not sure what now to do
Purchased it, was hesitant about it, but did it anyway.Couldn't get my service technician to install it by the end of Amazon 1 month warranty, now the heat pump is not quaking right, it was 40°out and the this was blowing cool air out when it went on, I am very concerned about the sumer now, and whether it will cool enough...My suggestion is do not buy from Amazon this product, but it from a reputable Dometic dealer....I may be stuck with a $1700 pos, and no way to get it repaired or replaced.

Works great and it's pretty quite.
Came with lag bolts to mount it on the roof and an electrical plug. I attached a picture of where I found them but I unwrapped them. I have an older model 5 button controller so I had to change the card out (item 3313107.107) but it wasn't a big hassle. Most of the issues I had were from whoever installed the last ac and I had to make changes.

I love it despite only 4 stars, its a 5 star unit for sure
This Heat Pump is awesome, it heats when you want heat, it cools when you want cool. I’m in the Nevada desert where it gets rather hot in the day and this time of year cold at night. I’m using it in a huge 42’ Toy Hauler that had 2 non vented and 1 vented roof top AC units. I’m parked in no shade at all and on a 98 degree F days just running this one unit by itself will get me down to 74 installed in my vented location thermostat is set at 70, (I can’t get it down to 70 unless I turn one more of my AC’s on, but this thing doesn’t complain trying on its own). It’s a 15K BTU AC so it cools as much as any 15K BTU AC that you can buy for half the price of this one, so don’t pay extra thinking you’ll get better cooling than from a lesser priced model. Where the price is justified though is in a variety of benefits.1) Its much quieter than my DuoTherm and my BriskAirII 15K units.2) The CCC2 Thermostat this requires (not included) is nice, though a phone app would be expected, its like 20 year old technology (still better than the 50 year old technology of most basic t-stats). I love programming it a little colder in the day, a little warmer at night, you can truly set it and forget it. It also controls my propane floor heater (no idea what brand that even is).3) The heat pump function is mainly why I went with this unit, its already saved me a ton in propane I’d otherwise be using to heat at night. Here’s the bad...1) The description on Amazon doesn’t clearly state this is the heat pump model, it is. Be careful, there are also NXT models that are AC only and not heat pumps. This is an actual heat pump, not just a regular AC with a heating element stuffed in it.2) It includes absolutely nothing. You have to figure out which inside cover your situation requires (good luck, Dometic doesn’t make this extra stuff you need simple to find or figure out, requires a lot of info research and confusing digging to figure it all out, no excuse for them to not make all this extra stuff you need easier to figure out). It doesn’t even include an installation manual, no owners manual and no wiring diagrams. You get the unit with the outside covers installed in the box, that is literally it. You need their CCC2 thermostat, vented or non vented inside cover, wire, wire nuts, RJ11 4 conductor phone cord, the 4 long mounting bolts, all of which is sold separately and NOT included. There’s a rather generic manual you can dig for and find online, it was a confusing mess to read by trying to cover to many different situations that didn’t even apply.3) The CCC2 Thermostat this requires is nice, but outdated for a latest and greatest product, its 2020, not 1999, it should be compatible with a phone app in 2020. The Thermostat also requires you to drill a giant (not even centered) hole in your wall because of the plastic that sticks out the back for absolutely no reason what so ever. They could have easily made it flush mount only needing a tiny hole for wires. The thermostat also requires a 4 conductor phone cord with RJ11 plugs instead of just letting you use existing regular thermostat wires. I already had 6 wires ran to my wall from the old unit, the wires were too thick to pit RJ11 jacks on them so I ended up just cutting off 6” from each end of an old phone cord and butt splicing it onto both ends of the existing wire. The CCC2 thermostat instructions also make the thing more complicated to figure out than it needs to be, don’t be intimidated by the instructions for it, its actually very easy to use.4) The inside cover, either vented or not vented, doesn’t include the 4 long mounting bolts, which is absolutely ridiculous, for the price they charge they could include the 4 stupid bolts you need, good luck finding bolts this length and thread pitch at your local hardware store once you discover you need them and its just another sold separately item you have to find. At least the cover does include the inside metal plate and a filter.5) Even once you find the manual online, there are 2 separate RJ11 plugs coming out of this unit, there is absolutely nothing mentioning this anywhere, so which one do you use? I still have no idea, I wasted over an hour just trying to find which one of the two I was supposed to plug the thermostat into and finally had to enie menie miny mo it. They both do the same thing or for the first time ever I had a 50/50 shot at getting it right snd got lucky.Did I mention despite all the bad I still love this thing? I do still love it, we’re going to replace our other 2 AC’s with 2 more of this same model and tske full advantage of the multizone feature of the CCC2 thermostat once they’re available (currently this model looks to be sold out everywhere I looked). We’ll still need to use our propane floor vent heater in the winter just because all my plumbing is in the floor and that heater is all that keeps my pipes from freezing, but I’ll still be able to dramatically cut down on my winter propane expense by supplementing that heater with the heat pump.Just remember if you buy this, it includes absolutely nothing! You’ll need to dig and hunt for the manual, all the information and part numbers on which inside cover you need, the thermostat, and the 4 long mounting bolts.

20 year old unit is better
WARNING: STAY AWAY!!! We had a 20 year old unit go out and it cooled at least 2 times as good. This also uses more power and is making the breaker trip a bunch!!!
