I can't put her books down once I start them. I certainly will read them all. Never get enough.

Loved It
I was hooked on this story right from the first page to the very end. I enjoyed seeing where Bram's life started and getting to know his family. Ismay is a character that is easy to care about. I felt her frustration, and then her fear at the events surrounding her sudden departure for Australia and was pleased that finally Ismay had a happy ending. For a while it looked like it might be put off for the next story. As always the descriptions of all the locations were well done and made you feel like you were right there. I could almost feel the heat in Singapore, hear the bustling and noise of a busy port as ships were loaded with passengers and cargo, taste and smell the food that the characters were served while on their adventures. I was happy to see some loose ends were tied up from the previous book in the series, we learned what happened to Flora and her mother, as well as how Bram and Isabella are doing as parents, but there are a still a few loose ends left at the end of this book to keep me curious about what The Trader's Dream holds in store. I'm sure I'll be as riveted by it as I was for the first two in the series.

How does she do it?
My number one Author. This book is part of a saga (4 books in total) Anna has a knack of making you feel part of the family in the story with her writing. You become gripped in the story that it is difficult to put her books down. Every book written by Anna is a superb read.
