Seems like a quality filter
I was looking for replacement filter cartridges for my RV filter. These cost less than the others I was interested in buying. I took the chance and am pleased with the performance. This cartridge clears the rust from the well water and doesn't seem to reduce pressure enough to notice. I have no idea how long it will last before being "full" but so far, after 3 weeks, it's still going strong.

Fit appropriately to standard whole house water filter, and screen sediment appropriately. Great price, too, and with the multi-pack encourages more frequent changing of the filter - which is the point.

They do the trick removing iron as well as an unpleasent taste which was present in my water (comes from a well). I do have to change them regularly but no more than with any other filter and of course this is entirely subjective to the quality of the water.
