Exactly as described.
Very high quality soy sauce. Just the right amount of sodium content and a nice fermented, umami flavor. Much better than the run of the mill Kikkoman sauce you find at the American grocer.

Its ok.
Its OK, it has a bit of a nutural flavor and goes well with everything but does not stand out in any way and you will want that for some dishes and cooking but it tells me that if I stock this, I'll need a finishing soy also. Flavor very mild. Saltiness, light to moderate. Consistency, on the thin side. This isn't bad but lacks the flavor I want. I use Aloha as my standard soy and will go back to that brand.

Much better than kikoman
We’ve been using this soy sauce for close to 20 years. Great for sushi and marinades. Not as dark/salty as other brands.

Literally my favorite soy sauce of all time -- Always has been
I was ESTATIC to find out that they sold bottles of this soy sauce on Amazon. We do have an asian grocery in my town, but it's VERY small and they don't carry this brand. This stuff is, by far, some of the highest quality soy sauce I've ever had. To the point where my palette has been kind of messed up. Like, I genuinely cannot consume "cheaper" soy sauce, especially tamari from grocery-store brands, yuch. This is the ONLY Japanese soy sauce I like, ESPECIALLY with sushi. They give you packets of the stuff when you get sushi boxes from Whole Foods, which is what got me hooked on the stuff. Genuinely give this a try. It is a little pricy imo, but it's so worth it.(Also, the "spicy" flavor is not spicy, thank you to other reviews for letting me know that -- Unsure as to why it's labelled that way. It's just regular soy sauce.)

Yamasa's sauces are always a good choice
Yamasa is my go to for every day soy sauce/Shoyu. If all you have ever had was that American made Kikkoman crud from the grocery store, you are going to be amazed with any 1l bottle from your local Japanese grocery, or from here. Yes, you are going to spend more for the real stuff, but it's worth it.This isn't "spicy" - what they are trying to say is that this sauce is more bold than their normal shoyu. I find this nicely complex but at a price where I don't feel bad about actually using it.If you want to be a soy snob, remember that there are huge differences in taste between say a Chinese (Pearl River Bridge), Japanese (Yamasa), and Thai (Green Mountain) soy sauce. And don't be confused (especially for the Japanese ones) by sauces that look like soy sauce. Tsuyu (I like Ninben) is noodle sauce. Some shoyu have things like Yuzu added (which is great for certain sashimi).Yes, I have at least 6 different bottles of soy based sauces at any one time :)

Quality
Very aromatic. I have used numerous types of soya sauce and I found this to the most aromatic especially combined with dashi for soba noodles dipping sauce n every day dishes as a seasoning.

Sabor y calidad
Marca japonesa de excelente sabor y precio

Soja chida
El empaque es de plástico, es un litro. El sabor de la soja es bueno, no está súper salado.Si es más cara a comparación de marcas nacionales. Creo que vale la pena su precio por cantidad y calidad

It's a matter of taste
It's a matter of taste when it comes to Soy Sauce and there is a big difference in the taste between Chinese soy sauce and Japanese. Brands vary in taste as well Kikkoman has a totally different taste vs Yamasa.Yamasa is the Japanese soy sauce we like with Sushi and other Japanese dishes.

Too salty and bland taste
Too salty for sushi and sashimi. Doesn’t taste like soy sauces I brought back from Japan. Still better than Kikkoman, but I expected a more flavourful product.
