Rinnie, Thank you for your question. The CHL91302 is for a Lithium battery. The CB20018 uses a NI-CAD battery. The two will not work together. Earthwise/Ameican Lawn Mower Company

Q: My charger doesn't charge. Looking into the battery port I have 3 sets of metal clips but there are four holes. Should there be 4 set of clips?

Only 3 clips are necessary for the charger to work. Looking inside your charging well there should be a clip located at the due North, West and South directions with the East position empty. If you prefer a clock reference the 6, 9 and 12 time positions have clips with the 3 position empty. If your battery is discharged completely, it may be too hot to charge immediately and could indicate a bad battery. Let the battery sit until cool before charging. If the battery has one or more bad cells in series, it may not take a charge or be able to hold a full charge for any length of time. Hope these comments were useful.

Dr. Love, Thank you for your question. The charger for your CHT10122 is for a NI Cad battery and we are out of stock on those and will not be replenished. You may be able to find a generic charger at you local battery super store. Earthwise/American Lawn Mower Company
