This was a gift. We have one just like it to crack black walnuts. Ours has held up well over time.

Could NOT Handle the Pressure.
I bought one of these several years ago and it has broken. Not used much at all and when used it was operated correctly. It is made of case aluminum and the end holding the bolt just snapped off. The metal is quite thick, but weak. It cost $49 at time of purchase - and since it could not handle the "pressure" is was a poor investment.
