I'm giving this garment a 4 star rating. Grey color can often appear more bluish-grey in different lights. It's heavier than most, which is what I was aiming for. The sherpa lining is neither thinned out nor as thick as a blanket, so an acceptable median.

This came in an air compressed package, when I opened it, it was very flattened and wrinkly. I threw it on low heat in the dryer with a damp towel for about 15 minutes and it came out so plush and soft. I am a plus sized lady, 5'7" and usually a 2X. This will fit you! I wore it last minute on the driveway to do an impromptu champagne toast with the neighbors in the driveway on NYE during Covid. It was 30 degrees F, I had a fleece shirt underneath and was toasty warm. Of course it is not meant as outdoor wear but it does show how roomy and warm it is.

I work in a office that is FREEZING to the point where you need gloves and 2 sweaters. I got this purely for work and I do not regret it. It's soo thick and warm, I love the feeling of the material. I feel incubated when I wear it as if the heat is trapped inside. I'm 5'2 so it's really big on me but so is a lot of things. I also love I can fit perfectly in it with my knees to my chest. I have tested it at home and was able to curl up in a ball and take a nap while staying warm. If I was on a deserted island and could bring 3 things, this would be one.

My 12 year old insisted on using her Amazon Gift card to purchase this. I wasn't a big fan of this purchase but to my amazement it is better then I thought. We call it her Big Purple Hippo. She wears it like a robe around the house and it IS super soft and warm. I'm happy to report that it has turned out to be a good purchase after all.

I am always cold I always have a blanket even in the middle of summer this is perfect for me the pocket is big enough to fit a video game controller or a full size bag of chips maybe a cat if you could convince it to crawl in there. The sleeves are kinda long but that's probably because I'm short.
