Die worked great
I had buggered-up threads on a riding mower's blade shaft. Tried using a very small file to no avail. This die cleaned up the threads; good as new! Shipped quick. I have a few Hanson dies & they are super.

I used the die to retread an old bolt and it worked perfectly.
I mounted an old 5/8 bolt from a Ford plow manufactured in 1955 to a bench vise and used the die to retread the bolt. The bolt was no longer available for purchase so rethreading was necessary.

Exactly what I needed
I needed to cut some new threads in the end of a cutter shaft. I tried a couple of other products with no success. This die, however, worked perfectly. It cleaned up the threads that had been mangled and now the nut slips on with no problem.

Hanson very good product my old set been in my tool box for at least forty years a few broken pieces always replaced by Hanson retired now after forty two years as a truck mechanic

Was exactly as described. Used it to clean the threads on a MGB kingpin and it worked like a champ. Straightened out old threads without cutting so deep as to break new ones. Would buy again
