Beautiful book full of excellent ideas and well presented. Well worth the money.

This book was a disappointment for me. "Heirloom" recipes, for me, do not involve cans of soup or boxes of dressing. Maybe that is the author’s idea of the "modern" gathering, but I hoped for more.The presentations could have been more carefully done, too. The ham-wrapped asparagus looked positively sloppy.For this price, I expected much better.

This is a fabulous cookbook and I use it all the time. Beautiful, easy to follow Southern recipes printed on great quality paper. Highly recommend!!!!

I’ve only made the beans out of this book, but it’s worth it for that simple recipe. I’m excited to make all the other things as well. There’s also a page on building menus for certain occasions that was very helpful!

I received this book yesterday and I am thrilled with it. For any Southern hostess (or anyone who loves to entertain), this book is perfect. They offer party menu suggestions; the pictures are beautiful; and I can't wait to start trying (and entertaining with) these recipes!
