Deceptive advertising
The machine was advertised as new. New machines come with a 3 year warranty. This machine came with a warranty in someone else's name which was not transferable to me and began 8 months before I purchased it. I am still trying to resolve the matter after two months.

The Standard for Water Machines
Excellent machine! Have had mine for 4 years. The water from the faucet where we live is absolutely disgusting as far as being able to drink. Once we got our JRII, have had no trouble drinking it! Keep the filter changed and use the cleaning cartridge periodically, and I anticipate many more years of service.As far as warranty is concerned, you need to purchase from a distributor, such as myself. I have never had to make use of the warranty, because of the quality of Enagic's products, but it does bring piece of mind.
