Not entirely sure why I cant get this to work. Shaving for years with the more common multi-bladed cartridges and decided to give this ago. I'm used to dry shaving but I was aware that wouldn't fly with this type of razor. No matter what I tried my skin burned and ached, and I came out of each shave with at least 3 (typically more,) cuts somewhere on my face or neck. I don't know if I was doing anything wrong, I tried my best to correct my technique, and made sure I did all the pre-shave preparation I could. Perhaps the blades were crap, but I'm not going to invest more money into something that's worse than my current method.

After eschewing the odious Gillette brand for their treacherous misandry, I found this replacement for wasteful disposable razors. The matte black look is gorgeous, the quality is excellent and it has a pleasant weight in the hand. With a little practise and the right razor blades, this razor delivers a perfect shave. The extra blades, cleaning brush and carrying case are nice extras. I recommend it.

This is my first safety razor, and so far I'm quite happy with it. It has a nice weight and feels comfortable to hold. It's easier to nick yourself so take care when using, but worth it to keep plastic out of the landfill. *If you have access to a 3d printer, thingaverse has templates for some nice stands and holders for these that you can make.

Love this razor, works really well. It has some weight to it, more than a normal razor, but that’s what I like about it. Also easy to hold & use.

I’ve been adapting my life to a 0 waste lifestyle and finally used up the last of my plastic razors and ordered this one. I’m used to shaving in the shower with a schick moisturizing razor but I don’t anymore. Once you get used to it it’s amazing. The first couple times using it are rough; you just have to get used to the pressure. You don’t need much pressure for a nice shave. It really is a nice zero waste alt to plastic razors.
