Sturdy Chick Feeders, Get the Job Done.
Quality chick/chicken feeders.Once the chicks get big enough you remove the top to prevent them from roosting on the feeder and taking dumps in their food. ***Caution***Very sharp edges on all pieces. It is extremely easy to cut yourself. Be careful with children using this item. I have cut myself multiple times. I think this is supposed to be a feature as it prevents the chickens from roosting on the edges or the feeder when the top is removed.I gave a 3 for “Easy to Clean” due to the sharpness on the edges of the feeder. I have cut myself a few times.

Dangerous to use!!!!
Do not buy this. The edges are extremely sharp. The metal is very thin and sharp. Cut myself a couple times already. Will not be using for fear that it will cut my birds necks. Waste of money and a safety hazard.

Would hold up better in drier climate
Work well, but will not hold up well in cold, wet PA. Once dirty, they can give you a bit of trouble sliding open. Get used to chicken crap on your hands when opening.

Not sturdy
Super flimsy, it does it's job for my quails, but I feel like some bigger chickens would pull the cover right off. The edges are sharp, but that's expected from thin sheet metal. We'll see how long they last.

Pretty Sharp Edges, won't use it.
Not worth sending it back, so I'll just live with the loss, but the edges of the metal around each feeding hole are really sharp. Not razor sharp, but the metal is quite thin, and the punched out holes for the beaks are raw and pretty sharp. You would total cut your finger if you ran it around the inside, so I didn't want my birds to use it.
