My girls enjoyed it

The DVD case itself arrived somewhat damaged; the cover looked wilted or like it had gotten wet at some point. However, the DVD is not scratched, so I believe the DVD will work okay, and my daughter will enjoy the movie.

My four year old daughter watched this movie about four times in two days. We were on a road trip - I'm not just being a bad Dad! :)She enjoys Barbies but isn't the world's biggest Barbie fan. She really likes ponies though (including my Little Pony) so I guess that is what caught her attention so much. When she got home, she insisted her eight year old sister watch with her, and I think the older daughter enjoyed it as well.Anyway, I have no intention of watching this movie myself so I can't give you a plot synopsis or movie review. What I will say though is that my daughters have always enjoyed the Barbie movies and they seemed to really love this one. It kept her entertained on a car trip, so I consider it $9 exceptionally well spent.If your little one or granddaughter or whatever likes Barbies, Ponies, etc; then I highly recommend this film.

Absolutely love all the Barbie movies! My girls have been watching them since they were 2 and 4. They are now 5 and 7. Barbie & Her Sisters in A Pony Tale will be on repeat at least twice, then they will move along to one of the other Barbie movies. Sometimes I think they watch the Barbie movies more than their Disney Princess movies! Great story lines about values, friendship, helping others, and family. The music is always very catchy and good. Well made. You will not be disappointed. We do own EVERY BARBIE MOVIE that has been made. When I bought my first one, I was worried it was going to be a second rate movie but it is up there with the Disney movies for sure. I am so glad I took a chance on them and you will too! My little Princess is a Barbie fan so when I came across this movie I couldn't pass it up. True to any Barbie movie this one did not disappoint!! It tells a beautiful story that touches on many subjects such as bullying and respecting nature. I truly love how this movie shows that Barbie and her sisters come together to help her Aunt save her riding school. I always try and instill in my kids that FAMILY IS FIRST and this movie touches right on that subject. Truly a great movie for any Barbie fan!!!!

Not worth it

Good Barbie movie! My daughter really enjoys this one. She loves the songs and all of yhe horses.

A beautifully designed Barbie and her sisters film, built around horses.The details and care that are put into the story and the characters make it worth getting these on Bluray but they are not always available in the UK. This is one of the few. It has Barbie and her 3 sisters visiting their aunt's horse academy which unfortunately is falling on hard times.You have the token bad guy and some funny moments as the 2 younger sisters try to learn how to ride and a mysterious horse that Barbie goes in search of.It has everything you would expect from a Barbie film but the graphics and the story are very good and worth the time if you have young children.I always enjoy the Barbie movies as they tend to have a more positive look at life. Encouraging and showing there are values in the world still.

Our family are all big fans of Barbie's movies, and this is another hit. My daughters (age six and five) love it, and even I was on the edge of my seat in the final horse race at the end. Barbie movies are a great way to bring the family together, while at the same time you know that if you do need to leave the room they are suitable for even the youngest children. They also teach good lessons about honesty, compassion and teamwork. When I was growing up Barbie got a bad rap, but I think she's pulled her act together. And she looks great for her age.

Bought this DVD for my 4 yr old daughter to watch on the plane when we went on holiday. Going by the "go on Barbie, you can do it!" Sitting next to me, I know she enjoyed the film!Seemed slightly shorter than previous films though (including the extras) but for a Barbie mad little girl, would recommend if you want an hour or so of relative peace to do something else knowing your child will be happy sitting watching the story!

My daughter has all of the Barbie films and this one lives up to expectation just as much as the rest of them do, so if your daughter loves her Barbie films or is just starting off her collection then I suggest that you buy her this beautiful tale of friendship. It's a great price too.
