Finally found the best cruelty-free/Vegan mascara
Finally found the best cruelty-free/Vegan mascara. The brush is nice and soft, no irritation. If you've got sensitive eyes, you'll love this. I've tried many leading brands (Vegan) and BWC is No.1. Their cleanser is great too. Vasanti is another brand that sell some great cosmetics but their eyeshadow is not that good, but try it for yourself. It might work better for you than it did for me. Devita is another great Vegan/CF brand that I recommend. Their cleanser is fantastic and doesn't leave your skin dry or too greasy and it really cleans.Best mascara: BWCBest eyeshadows: Lime CrimeBest lipstick: Lime Crime and ZuzuBest Cleanser: Devita is first place for me, then BWC and Vasanti a close second. (Remove cleanser with a muslin cloth).Best Sponge: My Konjac SpongeUsing other brands with all of the harmful chemicals in them is only doing your skin more damage. Use only natural products for your face and body otherwise the other junk will strip your skin away. If you suffer from breakouts even after investing in products like the Ultrasonic Skin Scrubbber and/or Microdermabrasion then I will explain why. These tools are good for the outside of your body and many do a good job but if you're eating the wrong foods, not filtering your water (Evian is best) then you will suffer in the long run. Leave out HFCS, additives, preservatives, meat, dairy, GMOs, etc and not only will you notice a difference in your skin, but you will notice a HUGE difference in the way you feel and the pounds will drop off you. If you have toiletries containing alcohol, animal by-products, throw it out. It's NOT good for you. Go to Physicians Committee For Responsible Medicine (PCRM) and read all about dairy and meat linked to cancer, heart disease, diabetes, high blood pressure etc. Don't just take care of the outside, you've got to take care of the inside too. It's nice to look good but it's even better to feel good.Hope this helps.

Cruelty free, paraben free, looks FANTASTIC
I LOVE this mascara!! I made the decision to only buy cruelty free products a few years back. Makeup has been difficult. I love my Arbonne It's a Long Story mascara but it's really pricey ($31 with perks discount, $39 without) plus $6 shipping - I wanted to look for a cheaper option. I then tried Benefit They're Real, and hated it! Smudged and left dark circles by mid-day.BWC mascara goes on easy, covers my lashes with one coat and separates lashes for a neat consistent look. Compared to Benefit, there is no clumping, no breakdown of mascara flakes onto my under eye, no smudging, and it's easy to remove. Cruelty free and looks great, at a good price for comparable products, it's a win!!

Change in formulation?
When I first found this mascara, I thought I'd found the Promised Land. I have VERY sparse and fine lashes, and the skin on my eyes is very sensitive. Maybe it will sound weird, but it was almost a dry application, with tiny little fibers that stuck to my lashes and filled in the empty space. It left them looking naturally darker and fuller - my lashes only thicker and darker, with nary a "spider leg" in sight. It was great! However, I think they may have changed the formulation, because when I purchased the product this time, it was just like every other mascara I've ever tried: goopy and too wet. It did nothing to plump my lashes, leaving them clumped together and looking worse than they did when they were "naked." I thought I'd finally found the perfect mascara, so it was very disappointing.

Very dissapointed in this garbage...
I wanted to love this mascara since I use BWC hair products and they work great on me, and also because I was looking for a waterproof mascara that was also Leaping Bunny Certified and vegan. However this mascara was a waste of my money. The first time I used it I noticed it was very dry. It also flaked on my under-eye circle skin area which ended up giving me that racoon eye and cheap mascara look. This mascara also dries up VERY quickly in the tube, so expect to not be able to use your mascara a few weeks or a month after exposure to air. Don't waste your money on this product and go buy a different vegan waterproof mascara.

Runs & Stings My Eyes
This mascara goes on nicely and adds fullness without being too clumpy. This is a more traditional mascara that applies fairly thickly and stiffens your lashes, unlike some vegan mascaras I've tried which create a softer more natural but less dramatic lash. The downside is that I find even the tiniest amount of moisture causes this mascara to run into my eyes and it stings! As you can imagine, this creates a snowball-effect in which I tear up, more mascara runs into my eyes, and then down my face. If I can make it through the day without this happening, I find after several hours of wear it does tend to flake a little - though if it didn't have the running/stinging issue this would not be enough to dissuade me from buying it again. I don't consider my eyes to be particularly sensitive so I'm surprised others haven't mentioned this issue.

This works fine, looks good, and you won't feel guilty using it
Give this a try if you're looking for makeup that won't make you feel guilty. I'm trying to switch to Cruelty Free products as much as I can, and this was an easy switch since I wasn't committed to anything in particular at the store anyway. I thought it would be hard to find good makeup that was Cruelty Free, but it's not when it's available on Amazon with Free Super Saver Shipping and doesn't even really cost much more than you'd pay at a drug store anyway. This isn't going to give you huge volume, but I don't like big clumpy mascara anyway. I don't wear a lot of makeup, and this was just what I was looking for--light and easy to wear. It works fine, looks good, and I feel good using it!
