DMD Stagger Acoustic Panel Design Pack: 6 Pcs 6)3'x1'x2" 3-gray & 3-charcoal

I obviously didn’t buy them all at once—I’m not that insane, but I’d liked them enough to order as much as I had.My line of work requires the office to be dead silent, but with two windows letting in all of the lovely Houston traffic noise, wooden desks and a particularly nasty echo, these panels have really helped out:I’d lined the windows with a few panels and two layers of blackout curtains; hanged some on the walls (if you don’t want to damage your walls, Gorilla-brand double sided tape and heavy-duty 3M hooks have managed to do the trick); added a VersiFold room divider to cover the french door; and left a few more panels on, around, above and below my desk. The end result: the room had gone from a consistent -30 dB to -60 dB—right where I need.(Additional note for those curious about the industry-standard sound levels, or want to get an idea of the scale: -60 dB is equivalent to an eerily quiet room, and 0 dB is comparable to someone screaming into your ear.)

This is, I think, my first product review. I'll keep it short and sweet.At just over $30 per panel you are getting exceptional quality. They are solidly built (about 8lbs each), the material they use to cover the panels is thick and good looking. Best of all, they really work. I'm sitting in my room that suffered from flutter echo and it is completely gone now. It takes a lot of testing, but if you take your time, do a little research, and some trial and error, you'll get a great result.Things worth mentioning:- the charcoal color is more similar to a navy blue- the mounting hardware is brackets and screws. If you can't screw into your wall, you should look at getting a lot of 3M command hanging strips (30 pairs or so). Even though they say a pair holds 16lbs, you will need 5-6 pairs to get them to stick to a wall. Trust me.

Get ready to do some light drilling and measuring! But it’ll be TOTALLY worth it. Be sure to own a simple drill (you can get one for under $30) and a measuring tape cuz it will be a difficult job without them.Also use the brackets sparingly I had to remeasure and redrill new holes after I realized I ran out of brackets 😬 but I uploaded the pics with the proper way to mount the brackets so that you don’t have to go through that hiccup.Sound dampening is SUPERB! These panels are pretty big too so be sure to measure twice before you buy!

This is one of those "you get what you pay for" kinda products. Is it cheap? Nope, you can find more economical solutions. Is it worth the price? Absolutely. The build quality of these panels is top notch, solid, no sloppy shortcuts, as good as you can expect. We have a basement theater but it has wood floors so the echo can be ridiculous, placing these panels in the right spots (takes experimentation) really cut down the echo. I will likely order another set and improve the sound even more. If you are going to spend a ton of money on stereo equipment, its worth considering products like this so you can realize your investments full capabilities. 100% recommend this product for noise deadening, not worth going cheap.

Due to high ceiling, I suffer from a lot of echo. I ordered a set of these to try and absorb some of that. Although I currently have no means of measure any difference, and will not comment on their effectiveness; what I can say is that they are well made and very thick, and that's all I was hoping for.

A high quality, well made frame and well chosen absorption material give this panel a very good reduction in room noise in the audio. They also drastically reduce how much noise escapes the room when occupied by the reee kids.

For the quality and price of these panels you will not find a better deal. They work great, look amazing in my home theater and as a plus they shipped really fast even after asking for custom colors. Highly recommend, if you are in the market for acoustic panels, go with Acousticmac......you will not be disappointed
