I’m a big fan of Aesop’s Resurrection and Reverence hand soaps, both in how they make your hands feel and in their incredible fragrances. That being said, $40 per bottle gets a little spendy, so I decided to try Beau Brummell after reading some good reviews. The hype lives up! The smell is fantastic, much more like luxury fragrance oils and essential oils and not at all “soapy” - to the point where I’d happily burn a candle with the same profile. The exfoliation isn’t too harsh, and your hands feel incredible afterwards. Would highly recommend for fans of Aesop or anyone who wants a “higher end” looking (and feeling) soap for guest bathrooms, your Airbnb, etc.

Pricey but it's perfect for my husband

I only purchased this hand soap after a lot of research and comparison shopping; I wanted a hand soap with a natural exfoliant—not plastic beads. (To my surprise, this was a really big ask and at the time of this review weeded out a lot of potential competitors.) Finally happened upon Beau Brummell and thought I would give it a try.Well, I’m glad I have. It completes my first requirement: it exfoliates quite nicely and with natural ingredients. But on top of that, it also smells quite pleasant too; a more masculine odor (if you’re inclined to offer genders to smells). Musky/leathery/tiny bit citrusy, I’d say, like an upscale cologne. And finally, it doesn’t leave my skin feeling dry—which can be a problem with exfoliant-rich products. Five stars definitely feel appropriate for this. I’ll order another bottle when I run through this one.

Gentle cleanser.

Not as good as gojo, but looks way better on bathroom sink. Does a pretty good job with the added pumice. Will buy again.

Enjoyed every aspect of this product except it’s a bit pricey; however, with all the frequent hand washing (due to the virus) I desperately needed a product to help with my dry cracking hands. The fragrance and exfoliating properties were a pleasant bonus.

This hand soap has an interesting scent, not the usual flowery scents that I’m used to it. There is a good lather and cleaning action even with small amount soap that I dispensed on my hand.

This is the best hand soap I have seen in a long time. I heartily recommend you give it a try!!
