Only Wish Bought Sooner
Great scooter for short distance commuters even though I happen to be a young at heart Grandma who bought it to keep up with grandkids. Their neighborhood parks/pools are 1-2 miles and whether they ride scooters, bikes or walk/run I couldn't keep up but now I can. Folded it fits in my checked luggage so I can take it across country to their homes in different states. I thought I would mostly use it when visiting grandkids but I use it even more riding around paved trails near my home. Love its extra wide platform so both feet can comfortably coast. Very well built. Super easy to fold. Easy to extend handlebar. Also love the handle bar brake. One granddaughter has a Razor A6 and when I take this to her house I end up with it because she prefers the Zootr also. One wish that it came with a kickstand. Still 5+

Handle bar slips and doesn't extend high enough for me.
Because of the high price, I had high expectations. After riding it for only five minutes, however, I knew that I would want a refund.I am 5' 11". The handlebar does not extend high enough for my height. The locking mechanism for the handlebar height cannot be tightened enough to keep it from slipping down. The foot board is too low to the ground to make the scooter suited for any surface except a smooth level surface. But that may be an inherent flaw to all kick scooters because the foot board must be low enough so that you can push off the pavement without bending your other knee excessively. The tires are extremely thin. And they look fragile. Instructions even warn you not to skid because skidding will cause tires to shred.I plan to return it for a refund. And so, I will keep it in new condition.I also own an $1100 electric Uscooter. This Xooter pales by comparison. But then, I concede it is unfair to compare it to an $11000 electric scooter. Because one you own an $1100 electric scooter, you won't settle for any kick scooter. You will be spoiled.I assigned this one star, the lowest rating, because I cannot imagine any person who would be happy paying $399, and this is what they get.

Great Scooter!
I’m ‘6ft 2in 280lbs and have put around 20 miles on this thing and it’s great! Just make sure to tighten the handlebar screw that’s connected to the lever occasionally. It’s just like the Razor Scooter I had when I was a kid but this is waaaay better quality in every way.

the most amazing scooters on the planet
I've had 2 xootrs for several years. They are the most amazing scooters ever. I've used them on many surfaces. I've scooted around rivers, lakes, in urban areas. Best investment I've made for doing outdoorsy things, and getting exercise. LOVE IT!

I've had this scooter for over 20 years I think.
I've had the Xooter with aluminum deck for has to be 20 years now. I won it in a contest and once I started using it to exercise my first dog Buck, a highly energetic Parson Russell, I have been very very pleased. Old Buck was a great dog and lived to be almost 19 years old, I think it was because he got lots of exercise. If you have a dog that won't leave you alone because he wants more exercise, this will be a life saver. Be careful and get to know how to ride it because it is fast but it is very sturdy and quite safe.I hold my retractable leash in one hand but make sure you can balance yourself safely before trying. My current dog, Bailey loves it. He sees me unfolding it and starts wagging his tail and getting excited. Love it!

Great scooter for urban environments.
I bought this because I am always looking for new forms of activity to convince my fat ass to exercise. I enjoyed Lime scooters so I bought this in 2018. It’s a lot of fun. It holds my 270 lb pound frame stably and rolls really well so once I get going, i coast really well. The main negatives are the brakes could be a bit more robust and the handle bars could be taller. I am 5’7” and it seems a bit short. But otherwise it’s a great product.
