Okularis® LED-Illuminated Hands-Free Magnifier (2.5X, 5X)

A little hard to work with. Could be just me.

Product is exactly as you see. Wears easy just requires that you adjust cord length for different tasks. My problem was in either packaging or shipping as the product arrived broken. One of the ‘arms’ was broken off but looked as if it had been rewrapped with the cord to secure it. Instead of sending it back I glued the piece back on. Sending stuff back is a pain. This is why it gets 3 stars.

This was a nice lighted magnifier, but it extended out too far on my lap, and I couldn't adjust it satisfactorily. Maybe if I were smaller, it would have fit better - don't know. I bought the magnifying, lighted glasses for $2 more. I'm sure my head won't be to big for this solution!

Getting used to using this is a bit awkward. You have to have it about 4” from your work to see clearly. Light is nice and bright, neck strap length adjustable. It works well once you get the hang of it.

I hesitated buying this because there weren't any reviews, but the price was so much lower than others that I gave it a try. I figured I could always return it if it was junk. This far exceeded my expectations! It feels very well made, and the light is excellent. The cord is very long, but completely adjustable. The switch for the light feels substantial, not flimsy like it would fall apart. It takes three batteries, but it's not too heavy on my neck at all. I highly recommend it!

The magnifier was easy to adjust so that it was the right distance for me to clearly see the project that I am working on. I liked that it came with a soft case for storage and a polishing cloth. I also like the size. At first I thought the bigger, the better, but I like the compact size because it is comfortable to wear and stays where I put it without interfering with my arms or hands.

I am really liking this tool! I use it for my hobby of making chainmail jewelry. The main lens is crystal clear, stays nice and stable on my (male) chest, and the two little lights are surprisingly helpful when needed. I love that it comes with a protective pouch as the lens is somewhat soft and susceptible to scratching. I used to use 2.0x reading glasses, but I am liking this much better! Strongly recommended.

This didn't work out as desired for my elderly mother. She had trouble with the neck cord and also with the light switch. Other than that, this was a good product.

Bought the magnifying glass for cross stitching. Excellent product the light us useful and sits comfortably around my neck. Oh and speedy delivery. Very happy.
