Not fireproof
Bought this for the same reason as everyone else to protect my living room carpet. Although the description says fireproof it is anything but fireproof therefore I do not recommend buying this as it caused damage to the carpet it was supposed to be protecting.

Very thin and flimsy, just like a piece of material, totally not worth that sort of money and not something you would trust to shield carpet.

Bought this rug to go In front of our wood burner, as we have had a new carpet fitted. It was a large size that's what we wanted. But totally useless as a small wood ember burnt straight through the rug. Luckily I had a sheet of hard board there so didn't burn the carpet. But certainly wood not buy this product again.
