I cannot give this item just one star, because it does emit light and it does play audio via Bluetooth. But its engineering is abysmal. I just needed a bedside touch lamp with occasional Bluetooth capability, and this looked like it would fit the bill. But I soon discovered that its internal battery is unable to last through the night, and I kept being awakened in the wee hours of the morning with the speaker shouting "Low battery, please charge" over and over again, once every 5 seconds or so. So I resigned myself to the fact that I would need to leave it plugged in all the time, but I soon found that it emits a constant, irritating high-pitched squeal at the edge of hearing whenever it's plugged in. It also has a small, bright internal LED that blinks constantly when it's plugged in, making it hard to ignore when trying to fall asleep.The touch-sensitive speaker grill on top is not very sensitive, I often have to tap it several times to turn it on. Once I tapped a little harder than usual--though still just a tap--and the fragile grill caved in partially. It still works, but it looks bad.

Got this for white elephant Christmas party at my job today for brunch. Everyone who attend had to bring a $20 gift item. Since I don't know who will pick my gift. I decided to find something unique and gender neutral. I found this and it seems useful. It's a speaker + night light.The person who ended up getting my gift, seems like he'll get a good use out of it. He seems to like it and been uploading it on his snap chat stories all day today. He says the light changes colors randomly or you can tap it while music is on. I'm happy that he likes it.

Makes my workstation look like a BOSS. The audio is decent considering the cost, build products, and speaker. One thing I've noticed with my unit is a hum when using the aux input. When using the Bluetooth the hum is not present at all. The ability to change the colors to fit the room or work area sold me. Sometimes I use the lights without any audio just to pump me up while I edit.

Product worked for less than a month. The power button no longer works, rendering the speaker useless. It worked wonderfully for that month though. Very loud! The light display was very nice as well. Bought it for my autistic son to hear the music that calms him and for the lights to distract him when he has meltdowns. It did the trick. Now if it only would have worked longer....

I had this speaker for a week and a day, I charged it for like 5 hrs, connected it to my phone for my workout, I’ll say about 15-20 mins into the session....the speaker said it was low on battery and powered off. Annnnnnndddd that’s all it does. No matter how long u charge it doesn’t work!!! EVEN IF U PLUG IT DIRECTLY PLUG IT INTO THE PHONE! It said power off. I gave it two stars because the light is decent...when it works 😤😑

Ive had it for like a year and its great. I call her Speaker chan (it sounds japanese to me)

This speaker is great to what I need, nothing to fancy, but it works as I was expecting. The lighting makes it really fun as well

I use it on a daily basis, really good volume and love the light settings. It is cheap so you can't expect much when it comes to battery life. It takes too long to charge completely. Sometimes I have to charge it for a whole day to be able to get around 3 hours straight of music.
