This blind significantly controls the light and make your sleep peaceful and comfortable specifically during the day time when sun is highly scorching. We purchased this for a glass door that goes onto the porch. It replaced "wood" blinds that didn't completely cover the door. We couldn't lock down the blinds and then let full light. The Zebra shades do it all! The size is perfect. Easy installation. The "open" is fine for filtered light although we raise it high during the day. At night, we pull down to the "closed" mode. It does let outside light in - if you are looking for blackout shades, these are not the ones. But for privacy, easy of installation, use, and look, these are definitely the ones. I only wish I could find in a very narrow width to do our front door sidelights.

I was looking for something easy to put up on my windows because you could see through my curtains. These blinds are ideal. They come in different colors and I did choose the white and another one. I said I think I chose the gray color which actually is more like a real light color so if you’re wanting something to darken the room make sure you go with the dark blackout colors, but these are very nice.

The blind fits perfectly in my kitchen window frame. It takes a little effort to measure and install but not very complicated. It helps block the afternoon sun that’s been bothering us for a long time.

The blind is extremely easy to install and looks beautiful. It really updates the window. It is a breeze to adjust from sheer to dark. My only comment is that it hangs slightly towards the right even though the brackets are level. The only time I notice is when blind is completely down and it covers more on right than the left. My husband did not notice and neither did my sister so I might be a perfectionist. The blinds are on a window in a door. In order to not make sounds opening and closing the door, I put small protective pads on the bottom back. This works well and now no slapping sounds. The price was a fraction of the cost of same shades from a design center so overall, I am very happy.

This was surprisingly easy to Install, ad it looks very nice. Fit was also perfect. One improvement that could be added is to provide a template for the holes/screws rather that having to measure from the borders.

We are very happy with this purchase. The blinds look wonderful. They fit perfectly. And they work as advertised. We will definitely be looking to leverage this product on other windows in our home. We highly recommend this product.

I purchased 3 of the Zebra shades with some trepidation. I live in an old house, so the windows are wonky and the measurements will never be perfect unless I had (expensive) custom shades created. After reading the reviews online, I went forward with the order, which I received two days later. I will say that I had a contractor do the installation. I do not have a drill and I wanted to be able to stand back and view that everything was straight in terms of placement without putting holes all over the window frame. It took the contractor 5 minutes to install each shade. The mounting mechanism could be placed inside or outside the window and the shade "clicked" into the mechanism. I will state the contractor swapped out the screws included for longer and stronger screws. The shades are excellent at diffusing the sunlight. I cannot speak to the privacy aspects because the room has not yet been used overnight. I am very pleased with these shades and I think anyone purchasing them would be equally pleased at the quality of the fabric, the construction of the shades (heavy duty plastic) and the ease of installation. My only niggling doubt is how the shade is viewed from the outside. Specifically, I live in a 100+ year old brick house and the shade is not in keeping with the architecture (nothing special, not a Georgian house). I feel a scalloped shade with edging and the hanging tassel for raising and lowering would be a better "fit". That said, I did require shades that offer privacy for first floor windows that can be easily viewed from the sidewalk. So, from the perspective of diffusing light while offering privacy during the daytime, the product works and the pricing is fantastic compared to a home improvement store. Good quality and smooth mechanism. Delivery was quick for a custom made item. Price was about 1/4 of the cost for a comparable custom made order from a specialized store in my area.I snapped a supplied screw in half while inserting it in a pilot hole I previously made. Looks like it was made of cheap grade alloy. I used a manual screw driver to avoid applying too much torque.So far it is great and communication with the vendor was good as well. Hopefully they last and continue working well so I can get a few years of trouble free operation out of them

I wanted blinds for privacy but also did not want to block my view that I have. So these gave me the option of both. These were exactly what I was looking. Quality and price are good. Very happy with this purchase

10/10 purchase. Easy to install. Arrived within 2 weeks from a custom order from China to Canada! We had unique measurements (15.5 inches wide by 81 inches long) that they didn’t offer but they said custom make them for us. Communication with the company was a breeze. They email you back within a day. They look great as well. We’ll definitely be ordering more.
