Great heavy gauge aluminum pan
This is a great all purpose heavy gauge aluminum pan. I wanted this pan specifically because it does NOT have any kind of nonstick coating. That means this pan must be seasoned! Please note this before buying. A lot of negative reviews complain about things sticking. You have to season it properly. I would rather season my pans naturally with vegetable oil, than buy cookware with toxic nonstick coatings. Once it has been seasoned, nothing will stick to it. To season it, rub a thin coat of vegetable oil on it and bake it upside down at 450. Let it cool, and repeat 2 more times. Once done, it will be a spotty golden color which I really love. It should not look brand new. It should look like a pan that actually gets cooked with. Hand wash only, otherwise you will ruin your season layers. I use this pan for deep dish pizzas and it works better than the more expensive lloyd pans in my opinion. Better because it does not have their nonstick coating, which they claim is nontoxic and utensil safe, but I don't believe it. Nothing beats a natural seasoning. It also does not have the stacking edge the lloyds pans do which I prefer for aesthetic reasons.

Much better than expected
I purchased this to make my wedding cake as I didn't have any 12" pans. Considering the crappy Wilton pans locally were about twice as expensive I figured I couldn't lose with the Parrish cake pan. I was pleasantly surprised, the pan is much higher quality than the Wilton pans, very well made. The pan cooks evenly and allowed me to consistently make a quality 12" round. For the price, you are getting a bargain! Highly recommended and I will probably expand my pan set up with more of the Parrish pans to replace my lesser (yet more expensive) Wilton pans.

Just what I needed.
I have several recipes that are baked in a 12” cast iron skillet. Since I can no longer handle the weight of the large skillet, I use this pan instead.

HUGE
Okay, so I am thinking I needed the 10 inch, but this one is still great. It makes for a great size cake - I bet could serve 25 people plus some. It was great cooking the cake. I have used it several times. It just was bigger than I expected!
