One thing that drives me crazy about some napkin holders is that they're too short! The napkins flop over! This one is tall enough to actually keep them in line. As others have noted, it is darker than it looks online, which is fine with me, and the feet are rough, which doesn't bother me, but FYI. They might need felt pads on the feet.

This is definitely wrought iron that is hollowed out to make it manageably light to serve as a decorative napkin holder instead of an anvil. I was relieved when it came and the color was not nearly as bright red as the photo. It is more a rustic black wrought iron that was painted and weathered, just what I wanted. It's beautiful! I highly recommend this gorgeous piece for any sophisticated decorator or a native wanting to represent their bayou French heritage.

It's a nice piece but I'm giving 3 stars mainly because the color I ordered a red one its not red photo below with what mine looks like and other pic is what they claim color will look likes lis pic is taken on a red gel pro mat which should have matched To bad cus otherwise I would have given a 5 star but not I have to repaint it or return it haven't decided yet you can definitely tell the difference mine is more like rust color not red !! #1 mine #2 Amazon pic

I wanted to replace my ceramic napkin holder something similar. Didn't find anything at the market so just went on-line. This one is metal, not ceramic, but taller than the one I previously had so I don't have to fold the napkins. Even with a small amount they will stand up straight. Also I like the design and especially the red. Looks great on the glass table.

I have four of these now! One is in the bathroom to provide pieces of folded papertowel when I need them in the shower. Three are in my study to provide great embellishment.Every one I've ordered has come in great condition. I also have a distressed red cast iron large bucket with handles that I bought years ago at Hobby Lobby. Then when I saw these, I know the color and knew I loved it. The bucket serves as a perfect trash container, up on my desk so that my mischievous dog doesn't go shopping in it!

I really like this napkin holder. It is a different design and the color goes well with my decor.BUT: the "feet" are very rough and will scratch any surface. So i gor little felt pads and cut them down to fit. It looks a little dorky but at least my table wont get scratched.

This looks great on my table. It is stable, stands up well and even when it did fall to the floor, it didn't break.It is a worn red color, made to look older than it is.I love it with white napkins.I find it very attractive.

I have to admit, I really dig this napkin holder! It arrived quickly in the mail, so no complaints there, and I really love the red finish on black iron look. All the little feet are equal, so it doesn't wobble when it sits on the table; and no little parts wiggle, either. It doesn't hold the largest amount of napkins, but I don't need 50,000 napkins at one time when it's just two people in the household. Goes great with my décor and I'm very happy with my purchase.
