Karman Deluxe Wheelchair Cushion, Black, 18"x16"x2"

I saw some say this was cheaply made. Not so! It is a light-weight chair. Something I needed badly as I'm struggling to pull the old one into the car anymore. This chair is perfect. I had polio as a baby and cannot stand or walk. My chair is my legs. I needed something dependable. This chair is it. I added the tip bars at the back and chose swing-away removable foot pedals but molded armrests that don't move as I put a great pressure on them while moving and lifting myself enough to dress. The chair with its padding is very comfortable and, since I'm sitting from 5 in the morning until I go to bed at night, this too is important. I have had the chair now for a couple of months and I love it. I am so thankful to have it. I highly recommend this chair.As with any wheelchair, it is important to use Grabbers instead of reaching forward for things as overreaching and/or putting extra pressure into the foot pedals can cause the chair to tip forward. This is true of every chair I have ever had. Use common sense and do not over reach and you will be just fine.

dimensions are perfect. the angle in the front for the knees is a nice touch.

Cushion is OK but it easily slides out of place. A little shift in body wight and the pad might slide off the chair.
