Smooth, tightly woven and deeper than 9ins
I am using this mattress cover as an allergy shield and a mattress protector. It feels smooth and tightly woven and is actually deeper than the 9ins that I ordered. It was therefore easy to pull on. The colour is bright white, which I love. It looks well made and like it will last a long time, especially since I like to wash them periodically to ensure that my allergies do not kick up.

100% cotton
This mattress covered arrived overnight as advertised. It was exactly as described on line. I am using it for a cover for a 4 inch queen sized mattress topper in our travel RV. It fit perfectly. I like that it is zippered as it will hold the cover on better than covers that only have pockets. All 4 sides are cotton. I had bought one at a store that advertised the top as premium cotton; it felt plasticy and the other 3 sides were plastic. This was exactly what I was looking for and could not find locally in the stores.

Not waterproof
Quality cotton. Very nice. I assumed it was waterproof. My bad. In my defense tho, it did not say it wasn't.

every bed must have.js
why are these like not included with every mattress? if this had 2 conditions it would be absolutely perfect one if it was waterproof and if it was organic which there is version that is organic from National Allergy but idid not get it not cause it was more expensive but it had pores of ibelieve around 4 microns n this one has protections of 2.6 microns. also the 2 i purchased were both true to size if not a lil extra. both made in the USA. also before purchasing these iread some say that it was flimsy n it ripped with a light tug n was bad quality n that did cause me worries n almost looked else where but after looking around nothing fit my needs. it had to Made in USA it had to be bug and dust mite proof and it had to also mean the zip was bug and dustmite proof it had to be all cotton... with that in mind i took a shot n am not disappointed super choice. machine washed dryer dried both king and cali king once and no shrinkage no pilling very happy. with all things considered why doesn't every bed have this. highly recommended. hopefully national allergy association will come with a organic cotton version with 2.6microns or less version n if it was organic n waterproof then watch out but until then closest to prefect ifound . oh and allmost forgot this comes with a lifetime warranty. SO Totally worth it.js

Waste of money
I can't believe I wasted $75 on this thing, I could have made a better one myself with a couple of bedsheets.Where to start? First I washed it because it smelled chemically when I opened the package. Putting it on was a pain, I had to shift my mattress onto the end and shimmy this down side to side, it barely squeezed on and busted a seam on one side of the zipper. When I finally got it on, the zipper foot came off because there's no stopper to prevent that, so I had to re-atrach it, then hand sew up the end of the zipper and the few inches where the seam broke. It was so tight that it ruined the plush feel of my euro top, I feel like I'm sleeping on a tightly pulled cot. Now if I want to take it off, I'm out $75 and a ton of effort for what's essentially a couple of thin sheets sewn together with too long of a stitch with a low quality zipper, and no velcro to properly seal the zipper opening. If I ever wanted to wash it again, the whole point of a washable mattress cover, it would be in shreds just taking it off and back on again.

Soft, effective allergy control mattress cover
Got this a few weeks ago after first trying the Allersoft pillow cover made from the same material. I have a dust mite allergy and was constantly suffering with a very stuffy nose all night long. OTC medication (Zyrtec) did not help it. The only thing that helped was prescription Flonase. But after using it 2+ years, my nasal cavities became irritated. So I tried this mattress cover, and switched to Allegra OTC. My allergy symptoms are much better. Not 100% gone, but 80-90%. I only have occasional stuffy nose while sleeping now, and suspect it is due to dust mites in the room (carpet) and not from the mattress. My next step will be to eliminate the carpet and go to hardwood floors. Oh, I also use an Eco Living Friendly (ELF) box spring protector purchased from Amazon. I can't say for sure that either the mattress covers or the Allegra have provided the biggest benefit. But the cost for the mattress cover is only equal to a few months of allergy medication, so it is money well spent if it adds another layer of control. I can say that there have been no negative effects from the mattress cover. The best thing about it is it is very soft and cool. It was easy to put on a regular twin. All I did was raise up the mattress from the foot of the bed until it was vertical. Then slid the cover over the top (head) and pulled it down to the bottom. Then laid the mattress head back down, lifted the mattress foot slightly, and pulled the cover over the foot of the mattress and zipped it up. It fits quite loose on my regular 7" deep mattress, so I just tucked the extra material underneath. For anything larger than a regular twin, this is probably a 2 person job to put on.

very nice material and quality
I loved the material and quality. The fit was a little tight and it was hard work getting it on the mattress. But that has nothing to do with the product

Size isn't 12" depth, zipper broke on first use.
I've struggled with this product since we put it on 6 weeks ago. First, the zipper broke just as we finished closing up the cover around the mattress. We figured we would try it anyway. The real issue is that the cover was advertised as 12" in depth, and it's more like 14". I have a 12" mattress and was looking for some tautness to prevent the cover from wrinkling under the bottom sheet. Instead, this mattress cover consistently rides up which makes it hard to make up the bed.I can't speak to whether it's easy to clean because we have to cut it out when I replace this one.Sign me, disappointed.

Great Mattress Protector
Use it to protect our mattress in our camper. Works better than expected and fits well. Great quality. Will not disappoint.

Small micron pore size
This was the only product I could find on Amazon that advertised an adequately small pore size required to manage a dust allergy. This product is 2.6 microns. The fact that it’s made of cotton is a bonus as well so it’s not so uncomfortable.

Softness, comfort and wrinkle proof
It is a nice soft protector. However, the Queen size has a black dot that is not easy to remove. Any thought what to do with the black dot? Also, it is not wrinkle proof after a wash.
