Inaccurate readings and useless product
The meter is very inaccurate. It measures only pure salt solution samples brix that too with 1% inaccuracy. Salt content in other juices, spice pastes, pickles cannot be measured even after dilutiuon

Refractometer works really well and easy to use
Easy to use and read, light weight and very inexpensive compared to the high end one, tested for calibration and it did come calibrated, the plastic case is nice to keep the unit clean and stored, definitely a must have for any beekeeper that extract honey,

Very accurate.
I was truly surprised how accurate it was. I compare it to my hydrometer for proof and trails and also to store bought alcohol so I know the proof before I even start. You can get down to the exact number because it's super easy to read. If you have a hard time reading it try using a light or stand outside where the sun is shining.

Skeptical
Product came in and was packaged well. I tested two separate batches of mead and it gave me a reading that was on target only issue was I cleaned the product glass with 70% IPA and figured I would test the IPA and it gave me a 20% readingI tested again and got 15%. Unless I’m mistaken it should have read full blue. So now I’m skeptical of the actual results.
