Lobelia Crystal Palace 2000 Seeds Grow Your Own Colourful Flowers

This type of seed can sometimes be difficult to germinate, but not with these. Great plants and a real variety of colour. My choice again next year!

Tired of waiting for my bulbs to arrive I decided to try growing pansies from seed in the meantime. This arrived the following day and I have sown the seeds already. A,lot of packets give poor advice on tines to sow. These were helpful.

Planted these seeds in spring and had lovely foxgloves in the summer

Good value seeds but although I planted them as per instructions after the last frost in late March as it’s warning up; only two or three species have sprung. Some tall white ones flowered in late April. Maybe the others will appear during the summer ….. Someone told me that some wild flower seeds need to over-winter in the ground one year but the pack doesn’t say that….. live in hope !! I also bought mixed poppies from the same source and they have gone on much better but only the yellow & orange ones ……Three weeks later - lots of poppies, some of which are self-seeded from last year and two other species. Now sown organically-grown red clovers to fill in the gaps. My soil is very rich & loamy, slightly sandy & well drained but because it’s west Yorks it might be too acidic for them.
