This hooded blanket is pretty warm. I have used it several times in temperatures that were in the upper 20's with about 10mph wind and it kept me perfectly warm. I think it may let a bit too much wind get inside to stay completely warm if the temperature and wind were much colder than that. I haven't used it in the rain, but it seems like the exterior would be completely waterproof. The materials seem really tough and durable. I'm confident that it will last a very long time. There are two things that I think would make it perfect. 1) add a draw string so you can tighten the hood around your head to keep wind and rain out - there is no way to tighten the hood on it now 2) add some additional buttons down the front so that you don't have to use your hands and arms to keep it wrapped around you. Adding a draw string and buttons would allow you to use it like a blanket or a jacket and help keep wind and water out. Sometimes my hands and arms get tired of trying to keep it wrapped around me tightly when it's cold and windy during a long track meet. Otherwise, this is a nearly perfect product in my opinion. I recommend getting a larger size than you think you need, because the extra length will allow it to cover more of your body when you are in a seated position, like on cold bleachers. I'm 5'10 and about 205 pounds. I got the extra large and I'm glad I did. I tried my wife's large, and the XL covers much more of my legs when I'm sitting down than the large does.

I bought this instead of the all weather tent for a soccer tournament. I am glad I did as I was able to freely move around, stay warm, hug my little one and warm him up, too. I am a size S, however purchased a size L since M was not available to be delivered in time for the tournament. The hoody is large and not optimal as the wind made it challenging to keep it on. A clipper will be helpful Having purchased the large size otherwise was great. M might have been better. I am keeping it in it's bag and in my car for future use during soccer practice, games, tournaments, or other outdoor activities.I also used this to cover the kiddos up while they were sitting on the sideline. Truly a great buy!

If you're outside watching your kids play spring or fall sports this is a must! It's definitely worth the price! Keeps out all the wind and rain and super warm.

Got this for a birthday gift for my wife and it is awesome.. She is always cold on the sidelines of the soccer fields here in the Pacific NW and it keeps her dry and warm.. In fact I am actually considering getting one for myself (6 foot tall 260lb male) to keep myself warm. I wouldn't care how I looked wearing this as long as it kept me dry and warm...Awesome stuff..

This is what I have been looking for those cold winter football games. Easy carry bag. Easy on and works even when sitting down and it’s warm.

This is worth every dollar! I was hesitant because of the price but it is the warmest thing ever! I used it at my son's football games and plan to use it for many years to come. It's also washable.My favorite part is that it is easy to put on and off if you get too warm. Who's been out there when it's chilly but the sun comes out and it gets hot. Only for the sun to go behind the clouds and it gets chilly again? This is perfect!!!
