Bambino Mio, Mioduo Cloth Diaper Cover

Beautifully made nappy covers! This kit comes with a one size prefold and one wrap. If you new to cloth like me, you might be a bit confused when it arrives. It wont come looking like the prefold we all see in 'how to videos'. The prefold comes nicely wrapped, quite ruff and difficult to fold... dont worry! Just wash it!!! It will all make sense once it comes out the wash!I plan to use bambino mio prefolds once our little girl gets a bit bigger. They are a larger size prefold compared to something like the muslinZ brand that stock different sizes.This kit is a great way to see what you think before investing in this brand. I like Bambino Mios wraps because they are a good small size for newborns, they have a double gusset for extra poop holding power and they come in beautiful patterns! All while being very well made!Also, if your worried about the velcro and are maybe wanting poppers only. Again, dont worry! Newborns cant take a nappy off like older children. Peppered wraps are better for older children due to them being harder to remove. The wrap has wash tabs for you to gold your velcro onto to stop damage in the wash!I hope this helps!

We decided to try this reusable nappy as our then 7mo son was waking up in the middle of the night all wet, pretty much every night. Three months on we still use it over his disposable nappies. Honestly, it was a life saver, as he’d get super upset if we tried to change his nappy in the middle of the night. He might still wake up wet every now and again, but that is a rare thing 🙏🏻. Another plus is that the reusable nappy dries quickly if you wash and do the spin cycle of the washing machine.

Wir haben die Überhose schon vor Geburt unseres Kindes als eine von mehreren verschiedenen Überhosen gekauft. Der Stoff ist schön weich (manch andere sind recht steif) und die Beinhündchen passen sich gut an, sodass keine Feuchtigkeit austritt. Schade ist jedoch, dass sie keine Laschen hat (die vordere Lasche ist ja nur als Nässeschutz gedacht und nicht für das Hereinklemmen von Einlagen). Deshalb schafft die bambino Überhose es auf Platz drei in unserem Ranking (alle Größe 1) hinter milovia (top Favorit) und Blümchen (auch super, wenn auch höher geschnitten und etwas steif, aber tolle Passform). Ich verwende die bambino aber trotzdem gern, weil sie zuverlässig ist - von der Blueberry Capri sind wir hingegen eher enttäuscht, weil sie unserem Kind einfach nicht passt und dementsprechend ab und zu mal was daneben geht. Wir arbeiten nur mit Einlagen und wickeln keine Mullwindeln um das Kind, weil das bei normaler 80x80 Größe einfach noch zu viel Stoff ist bei einen jungen Baby. Die bambino funktioniert als einzige aber auch ganz gut mit gefalteten Mullwindeln als Einlagen, was bei den anderen Überhosen eher zu viel Material ist. Grundsätzlich arbeiten wir mit 10 Baumwollprefolds (Länge ca 30 cm von Avocado, Xkko, Blümchen, selbstgenäht), Waschlappen zur Einlage gefaltet (immer 2 Lappen zB von Ikea Krama oder Amazon) und eben ab und zu auch Mullwindeln. Die Lappen nehmen wir sonst auch zur Reinigung beim Wickeln oder nachts als zusätzliche Einlage. Darüber hinaus nutzen wir das wegwerfbare Windelvlies von Grünspecht, das es bei Rossmann gibt (immer die RossmannApp nutzen, 10% Rabatt an der Kasse) und pro Rolle etwa 3 Monate reicht. Wir waschen ca alle 2-3 Tage alles bei 60 Grad. Achja, Überhosen haben wir 6 in Benutzung, was total ausreichend ist. An Wetbags haben wir 3 größere Exemplare in wechselnder Benutzung und ein kleineres für unterwegs. Ich überlege gerade noch eine weire bambino als ständiges Backup für die Wickeltasche zu kaufen. Unser Baby ist jetzt aber schon 2,5 Monate alt (5 kg) und wahrscheinlich würde die Überhose dann nur noch max. 2-3 Monate passen, wobei die bambino auf mich den Eindruck macht, dass sie wohl am längsten passen wird von unseren newborn Überhosen. Wir haben übrigens erst mit den Stoffwindeln begonnen als der Bauchnabel verheilt war (mit ca 2,5 Wochen), weil man die Pampers besser am man umklappen kann. Der Mehraufwand gegenüber Pampers ist, meiner Meinung nach, echt übersichtlich. Dafür produziert man keine doch echt schockierend großen Müllberge.

I'm new to the world of reusable nappies and not sure what size will fit my LO as I'm still due, but I like how soft the nappy cover is. Looks like it will fit well and is well made with neat stitchings. actual nappy is also a big cotton cloth which goes inside the nappy and can be washed once soiled. got this for trial on discount , I intend to use my own cloth inserts to go with the cover. very cute design and print. overall happy with it

Loved the design and quality but it has been rather small for my daughter since I bought it. I've got the size 2 as she's always been a big girl, as in chunky legs and tummy and they've been on the small side, so I didn't use it much as it was too tight and small causing her skin to catch under the tabs and leaving an all round mark on the waist, and this was after she had turned 1 and she was around 10kg then. Very disappointed with the sizing.
