Not just a cook book
This book really helps you understand the food you eat, and how very sweet apples actually lower your blood sugar levels, the recipes are easy to follow and the colour pictures make for perfect comparison. There also are pictures of ingredients to keep things simple. The book offers tips on every page. The edges of the pages are colour coded for quick access to your favorite section. I could not find a section on healthy sugar alternatives but the tips in this book will tell you natural sugars from fruit is your best option. This book was highly recommended to me and I highly recommend it to you

Love this cookbook
Contains information and 70 meals - all in full color and color life size photos and color coded pages on the edges. The recipes are so easy to make from ingredients you have in your kitchen. I like the Fish and Chips - p-156 and the Thai Chicken - p. 240. Delicious Healthy food. This book would be useful to non-diabetics too.
