Food Dehydrator - 360 Degree Rotation with 24HR Timer Control

The media could not be loaded.  I have never seen a food dehydrator that spins before. This food dehydrator is similar to others I have used. However, there are a few extra features that I am pretty happy about.The dehydrator has 5 trays that are constructed similarly to other dehydrators. You can actually remove the inner portion of each tray while leaving the outer ring of the tray. I assume this is so you can increase the airflow if you aren't filling every tray, while still using all the trays as recommended. Unlike other dehydrators, I have used, you can control the temperature and set a timer for up to 24 hours. In addition, the most unique feature of this dehydrator is that all of the trays slowly spin in unison as the dehydrator is running. This helps assure your food dries evenly.The dehydrator comes with a booklet that gives warnings, directions for use and guides on drying items like fruit, vegetables, meats, herbs, and flowers. I used the dehydrator to dry apple slices. Following the guide, I found it took less time that suggested in the guide, so make sure you keep an eye on whatever you are drying.I have included a video showing the dehydrator in action as well as the end result of the dehydrated apples, which by the way were delicious!I found that the dehydrator is easy to clean. The trays can be soaked in the sink and the base has a smooth surface that is easy to wipe down (unlike other dehydrators I have used).Afer my first use of this dehydrator, I was very pleased it. I look forward to using it many times this summer.

This is a good start, but some improvements could be made. Let's start with what we liked: we really like the clear trays and cover so we can easily see the food we had in there without having to open it up, we liked that it rotates to give a more even distribution and in the end everything came out great. Here's what we didn't like about it: ours wasn't level and would wobble, so that could certainly be improved upon, it was quite loud compared to our other dehydrator which caused us to rate it lower as well.

Love ValJax Food dehydrator for making fruit and jerky. We spend a lot of money buying jerky so looking forward to making more and saving a lot. Like dried fruit on my salads. Good quality and easy to use. I would recommend and looking forward to trying some other things using this food dehydrator. I'm so excited to be able to make jerky again and dried fruit.

This food dehydrator has a timer and a temperature control that goes from 1-7, 1 being low and 7 being high. It came with five trays that interlocks and a manual. The feature that makes this unique from others is that it rotates which allows for more even air flow. I made beef jerky as my first experiment and it took about 10 hours. I used the wrong cut of meat so it came out chewy, not the fault of the manufacture. But I think it would be nice if it came with a booklet with some recipes or tips.

The unit dehydrates fine but I'm somewhat disappointed with the lack of instructions. The instruction manual gives you basically no information. The dials are hard to read and small. There are no instructions on how to install the trays either. A bit confusing the first few times we operated it.

I enjoyed it, but the trays cracked too easily. I did not place them in the dishwasher I was hand washing them and they are flimsy. Not sure if the spinning feature really makes a difference. I wouldn't buy this again.

I have used two other models of dehydrators for making my dog's treats. This one provides more even drying and is quieter. However, it still demands the same basics of air flow to get to the pieces of meat and time. It cleaned up nicely. I like that the trays actually come apart. I would buy it again if needed. I hope it lasts a long time. But I usually make their treats once a week so that's a lot of usage.

It stopped rotating in its first use and hasn't turned back on. I think I am going to return it, which is a shame since it is one of the more expensive dehydrates on Amazon.
