Edible gold foil
Was used to accentuate the flowers on my daughter’s quinceañera cake. It looked amazing!

NOT EDIBLE
This product does not seemLegitimate. It has no safety seal and since the writing on the package is in a different language I am hesitant to use it on a cake. I suspect it’s not edible although the description says it is.Also no refunds on this product.

Biologically inert gold superthin leaf, but unsealed
This is very thin gold leaf. It's not made of anything but gold which is chemically inert and just passes through your digestive system. It doesn't taste like anything because it's not made of sugar or food stuff. It looks and tastes like every other edible gold I have ever used. It tests as being at least 14k gold. (I didn't have any proper solution to test for higher content with.)I have used and ate this, without problem. I have even had it in mixed drinks & we laughed that we would be pooping gold. It's extremely thin and lightweight. The whole contents of the two probably weighs a gram or two. However as a garnish it goes a long way and it will easily garnish a cake or couple dozen cupcakes, maybe more, if you only use a little bit.I'm only giving it four because the labeling is insufficient and it needs sealing. I think that people have a hard enough time trusting things when they don't come sealed or with very exact labeling on them, this has neither really.
