Modern/sleek switch
Love this switch, exactly what I was looking for. I wanted a unique switch for the garbage disposal but also didn’t want it to look out of place. The nickel finish is perfect, looks great with the white cover and ties in with the nickel finish faucet. It was easy to install and functionally works great.

Product is great but Amazon shipped a used device missing the installation instructions
This is my first time using Legrand. I really like their switches. They are low profile on the back and the terminal posts have the additional guard on them that helps hold the wire in and make the connection secure and makes the connection easier to wire. The shark bite connections are neat and clean but a pain if you have to take them back apart. The only problem was Amazon shipped what looked like was a used and returned product and it was missing the installation instructions that were supposed to be inside the box. But a Google search on the Legrand website turned up what I needed.

Top notch switches!
Legrand (pass & Seymour) makes a good product. These switches, although not really marketed on the packaging, are spec grade switches. They feel much better than some other decorator switches, like levitons decora. Where levitons switches are soft and mushy, the click on these feels much better, and feels as if they are constructed better. Can’t go wrong with legrand. Menards also carries this brand of switch, and sometimes you can find better prices there than on Amazon.

Good Replacement
Good replacement. Only issue is the “almond” color does not match the original switch plate “almond” color. We have found it impossible to find one that is truly a matching color to the original. Other than that this one works and the color is close.

4 N 1
This plug is used between 2, 3 Way switches and your home must be wired for this to be used properly... somehow, the home I was working in DID NOT HAVE this in the middle of 2, 3 way switches, I am not sure How in the world they turned their lights off and on, at the 4 way point. It works now. Great unit.

Beautiful accent light switches
Replacing 20 year old builder grade switches and switchplates was easy. And these are the best we have found including all retailers of common home building products.Very attractive No exposed screws or fasteners.Would recommend.

Box of 10 single pole switches were brand new and in perfect condition
This is a review of the box of 10 single pole switches to clarify that it does not refer to any other type that is reviewed on the same page such as ones with internal lights or which are intended for use with garbage disposals. We had all of our old toggle switches replaced nearly 4 years ago with Pass and Seymour Legrand switches (our electrician's choice), but one of them developed a problem with gapping at the top and one side of the paddle as the plastic pivot in the middle broke on one side. Based on my research, the same problem has occurred with this type of "Decora" styled switch from various manufacturers so it's not unique to this product. Why it occurs is not clear and some brands have had more failures than others, but this brand seems to be well regarded. It is plastic after all and perhaps it becomes weaker as it ages. Ours was located in my wife's bathroom so maybe humidity is a problem or maybe my wife hammered it whenever she touched it. Perhaps it was from a bad batch of switches or maybe it was already fairly old when our electrician installed it. There is no way to know.I ordered the pack of 10 as it is much less expensive per switch than ordering a single one and because I expect that others may eventually develop the same problem. I also found that these are impossible to find in packs of 10 at any other local hardware store in our Alberta city. Naturally the price on this site dropped by about 29% after I ordered mine just 8 days ago.The switches in the manufacturer's box we received were clearly brand new and in perfect condition despite a few other reviews from some buyers saying they received scratched or dirty switches that appeared to have been returned. In terms of installation they are as easy to install as any other switch or receptacle, but you need to be very careful when doing so. Turn your breaker off and test the wires to makes sure that power is off to the device and any other switch that may be in the same electrical box or nearby receptacle that may be fed from this electrical box. Ours was for a bathroom light installed in a double gang box with another switch for the fan and I suspected that it might also feed a nearby GFI receptacle. It would be very helpful to have a non-contact voltage tester in doing so and if you are not experienced, make sure you watch the numerous videos posted online that show how to test for the power being off and how to install them. In terms of the wiring, I simply followed exactly how the existing switch was wired.By the way, I replaced the existing switch because I thought it might be hazardous. Better safe than sorry, of course, but I think I may have been wrong. I did some online research to see how these switches actually work, internally, and I pried the paddle off the failing switch after I replaced it in order to look at the interior. I realized that the mechanism that flips from off to on is in the middle of the paddle, aligned with the pivot so it seems like even if your paddle pivot breaks on one side, as long as the paddle remains in place, it seems to me that it likely isn't hazardous. That is not to say you shouldn't replace it, but I am raising this issue because one of the reviewers was angry and posted a photo saying that it is an electrical hazard, should not be sold on this site and that he was reporting it to the CSA. I think that was unfair. The box of switches I received were labelled TM870W rather than TM870WCP6, but I had already contacted Pass and Seymour Canada to find out what the difference is and was told that they are identical, but the TM870WCP6 designation is simply their code for their retail product.

Works well
This worked as expected. Instructions could be a tiny bit more clear, but great price for something that I definitely needed.
