First time using these sponges. I have dry sensitive skin and these sponges are very gentle. It's hard to describe how soft they are. You cannot compare to a regular sponge as they are made from plant material. It is definitely softer than a microfiber wash cloth or even those pre-moistened facial cloths. It's almost like a solid jelly pad. If you have delicate, sensitive skin, I highly recommend trying these. You have to let it soak first to allow water to absorb into the sponge (I used the bag it came in). I then used the string to hang from my cleanser bottle to allow it to dry.I gave this 4 stars because of a shipping problem. It originally shipped USPS and was delayed until UPS shipped. I still received it within 5 days of ordering and I am in TX. It basically shipped ground even though it was advertised as Prime.

I bought these konjac sponges because they are flat like a real face sponge. All the other konjac sponges I found were rounded, like a ball cut in half. The seller is in China, but it took 14 days to reach me on the East Coast (near D.C.). You get 3 of them. Mine are red, pink, and yellow. The package, unfortunately, does not designate the significance of the color. These sponges are wonderful. They leave your face feeling so clean, yet are extremely gentle. If you have questions, the seller provides good service.
