Guarding Salvation: A Shadow Elite Novel

I don’t write reviews often, just rate & go, but I had to in this instance. Loved the book, great action & romance, just like the Eidolon series it spins off of. But…the female mc’s name, Aoife, was so distracting I almost stopped reading the book a few times bc of it. I understand that every name can’t be mainstream & it shouldn’t be. But every time it came up I stumbled over it & tried to remember the pronunciation that was so kindly supplied at the start of the book, didn’t work. I can deal w/different &/or exotic, but my eyes constantly stumbled over the name & it took me out of what I was going on story-wise. Perhaps many readers aren’t like me & won’t be affected by the name. If you are like me & the name is an issue, know you’re rewarded w/a good story.

Bram's from a privileged background a bit headstrong but a good soul. When his sister is attacked he avenges her. As the story progresses a brick in each of their walls falls, he discovers the reason she is hiding, and the truth of their pasts may be what saves them both in the end, Maddie Wade went into the shadows willingly with Guarding Salvation, the first of what I hope is many books in her new Shadow Elite series. We get a rundown of the new crew as well as the romance between a knight-in-shadowed armor and his girl who emerges from the shadow of her past. Bravo 👏 👏 Maddie Wade!!! What A Fantastic Start To A New Series And A New Group Of Warriors. I have been waiting patiently for shadow elites stories and wow first up was Bram and Aoife story and I was absolutely enthralled from the beginning until the end and sitting on the edge of my seat trying not to freak out lol. I can't wait for all these new stories and learn more about Shadow Elite Group. Well done and I'm still reeling from it. So much action and suspense and smoking hot chemistry and romance and just absolutely loved this book.

Maddie Wade's new Shadow Elite series is starting out on an excellent note. Shadow is an offshoot of Jack's Eidolon Security, a second chance for these warriors! Bram son of a Scottish laird, finds redemption with the group. Aoife, daughter of an Irish mafia boss is on the run from her abusive father. When they meet, the chemistry is intense and now Bram will do anything to win Aoife's heart. Her father has other ideas!!!! I loved the beginning of this new series and recommend it to all. It has all the action, adventure, love and excellent story line of her other books. 5 stars!!!!❤❤❤❤❤

Waooo what an Amazing and Powerful Story but I really don’t expect nothing less from such a wonderful writer Maddie Wade you really are a gifted writer and you never seem to Amaze me with your stories. This books have everything Powerful Alpha characters, mystery, remorse, anguish, anger, retribution, second changes and most importantly LOVE . Bram and Aiofe love is an amazing story to read and see develop through this book and to be able to be part of seeing a wonderful Team and family come through together ni matter what is truly Amazing, pick up this book you will not be disappointed

Bram and Aoife's story is not for the faint of hearts. It's raw and mind wrenching yet kind and honest sweetness that some never find but 5hey did. Scary often but that is why Shadow Elite is for. Now on to read the next one. 💞

Wow! What a start to the Shadow Elite series. Firstly, it was nice to see a couple of mentions of Jack and the others - like visiting with old friends. However, these were just mentions so should not put anyone off if they have not tried Maddie Wade books before. If you haven't tried Maddie Wade before - what's stopping you!I was not sure what I would think of Shadow Elite, since some of the characters are slightly dodgy to say the least but as Maddie Wade has never let me down, I was pretty certain I would love it.Bram is a Scottish laird who carries a burden of guilt and Aoife is the Irish mafia princess being hunted. These two need each other to see past their past lives and actions to be able to rid themselves of the guilt they carry and move on together.Maddie Wade has clearly delineated the difference in evil for evils sake and having to do things that people would call "evil" for the sake of keeping the world safe.Seeing the Shadow Elite living in the grey to keep the world safe is going to be another smash series for Maddie Wade. It's a journey that I can't wait to continue with the next book "Innocent Salvation"

Bram knew the moment he set eyes on her that there was a spark between them, he also knew she was hiding something. Aoife was hiding-- from a brutal father who somehow kept finding her. Bram and the team he worked with step in when her trouble turns up-- with people getting hurt in the process. This book has got everything- so many twists and surprises you don't see coming, so much pain-- deceit -- compassion and loyalty. How can the " good guys " not save the day. I can't wait to read the next installment.W O W !!!!!!!!!!

Excellent book loved it very much,absolutely fabulous suspense and action packed pages. Really good reading you can't put it down as the action gets better. I recommend to everyone to read this book absolutely awesome. Thanks

Love the teams dynamics, their banter, loyalty and compete understanding of each other. Bram and Aoife’s story is one of beating misplaced guilt, a psycho father and love of family. Loved it.

Yet another brilliant book by maddie Wade, I love how we still get a glimpse at the other couples in the other two series and can’t wait for the next book
