Down and Dirty: Italian Stallions, Book 1

I couldn't put my Kindle down !
Down and Dirty is book #1 in the Italian Stallions Series and what a way to start a series.I couldn't stop reading until almost midnight when I finished the book and then I was upset that it ended so soon.Jess is a single mother down on her luck that is trying so hard to provide and take care of her son Jasper and one night she parks her car outside of Tony Moretti and Dr. Rhys Beaumont house. She knows them both from her work at the diner where they both visit every week and while driving the cold streets of Philadelphia she finds in her wallet a business card with their address. This decision will change Jess and Jasper's life! When Tony and Rhys discover Jess freezing in the car in the early morning they convince Jess to let them help her and her son.Tony and Rhys are willing to do anything to keep Jess and Jasper safe in their house and they use aunt Berta to help them convince Jess to except help. The longer Jess spends time with Tony and Rhys the harder it is for her to hide her attraction to them and we soon discover the attraction is mutual but Jess is guarding her heart and is scared to open her heart and trust Tony and Rhys.Wild and Dirty was a very emotional read, I felt so bad for Jess and Jasper and how they had to deal with homelessness and no family friends support Jess is such a strong heroine and I loved how she takes care of her son and how she is doing everything she can to improve their life even excepting help when it's hard for her to trust other people.Tony is a super alpha man and he and Jess don't see eye to eye but you can tell how much he cares for her and Jasper. Rhys seems more calm and relax until you really get to know him.The sexy times were super-hot and when you put two hot alphas and a strong woman together the sparks fly!The secondary characters really added to the story, aunt Berta, Rhys sister's Penny and the rest of Tony's family, The Moretti.I can't wait to read the rest of the books in the series, I already pre ordered the second book in the series coming out in June.

Down and Dirty...Makes Me Say Hmm...Amazing
How lucky, blessed can Jess and her son Jasper be. They end up at Doctor Rhys and his best friend Tony Moretti's building the night they have nowhere to go and are in a freezing cold car with really no gas to warm up the car and have to use all the clothes they have to spread over the little boy so he can sleep in the back. This is another great romantic story by Mari Carr. She even involves family members I already had a relationship in that Layla, Tony's sister was in a three-way relationship with Finn, a part of the Irish family in Baltimore and Miguel. Mari always has such a realistic an awesome plot with drama and humor thrown in. Can't wait to read about Penny Rhys's sister's story. This was a good read and I would definitely recommend this Mari Carr book.

Steamy enough to hold off the artic cold!
Brand new series and Mari Carr delivers!!!!Well to be honest, she always delivers the best stories out there. (Although, she did fail to deliver enough snow so I could stay home and re-read this one yet again.)This time she has upped the game with Dr. Rhys Beaumont and Tony Moretti who co-own a wonderful building with their offices and their home. They are both generous caring men. And easy on the eyes as a bonus. They share their lives but so far not the same girl friend.Jess is a single mom down on her luck. As in she and her young son are living in their car. Among the various jobs Jess holds, she is a waitress at a dinner where Rhys and Tony meet friends for lunch on a regular basis. At some point, Rhys gave Jess his business card. For some subconscious reason, Jess has held onto this card despite all of her troubles. On a bitter artic cold night, Jess finds that card tucked into the deep recesses of her bag she calls a purse. She has just enough gas to get to their building and parks in front of it. She pulls out all of the clothing in the car and uses it to create a warm cocoon to keep her son not only warm but safe. Jess is determined to make this something that her son thinks is fun so she calls it car camping. But she is fully aware of the dangers but when you are at your wit's end and barely hanging onto to the last thin piece of string that was your rope.Coming out of their building the next morning Rhys and Tony at first don't think much about the car parked in front of it when they head out for their run. But when they are coming back, they realize something is wrong and leap to the rescue. And this is where the story starts to get interesting. The guys have purely altruistic plans when they rescue Jess and her son but both men slowly realize that they want her for themselves. And unknown to them, Jess is having some pretty hot fantasies involving both of them. And then things get steamy enough to hold off the artic cold.Definitely a must read and even better to read it on a steamy weekend to hold off the cold. And enjoy your favorite beverage and fantasies while you read.I did receive a copy of this novel in advance from the author in exchange for a fair and unbiased review. And Mari, I still want that snow you promised so we would have another snow day or two

Spicy with sweet under tones...
This is a well written story with great characters. Please remember this is a menage story so if that isn't something you like this one isn't for you. I would encourage everyone to get this one it is a great story and worth your time. Go get it and enjoy.

She has never found a home.
Even as a child Jess didn't have a home, she had a place she lived with her mum, but it wasn't a warm, nurturing home with love, which is what she has tried to provide for Jasper...and it is killing her. She is drowning under the strain, the knocks that life keeps sending her way, but she is also proud, maybe too proud at times.Rhys and Tony didn't realise they were waiting for their one, they weren't looking or even hoping. But the moment they see her they know she is theirs, and they were meant to share her, worship her, provide for her and raise Jasper as theirs. They just need to convince Jess of this too, which is hilarious as they are the most inept communicators and obviously mess everything up multiple times, combine that with Jess's stubbornness and pride and you have an explosive, funny, very sweet and deliciously naughty road to HEA and a home together.

good read
Good read and loved all the characters although I felt at times things were dragged out for no particular reason. Also older guys you’d think would have better communication skills. That said love this author and it was a good read.
