A South Carolina Chronology
J**E
Just a yearly timeline
Even though this book is written by the South Carolina history dream team, it's pretty simple. It is exactly as described - a year-by-year timeline of events, facts, and places. It goes without saying that the book is arranged chronologically and is broken down into chapters (really just sections) by major time period. Colonial, Revolution, Antebellum, Reconstruction, etc...Each of these section opens with a very brief introductory narrative. There are no photographs whatsoever - just dates and entries.Good for use as a quick reference, but certainly nothing approaching a comprehensive encyclopedia or narrative history.
