No need to waste time shopping around. Buying a case of fifty (50) boxes lowers the per-box cost to a fraction of the best price offered by the national office supply retailers and the national membership club warehouses (I would list the retailers names but doing same without reference to each retailer's registered trademark may preclude this review from being published). Best bang for your buck, without question.Again, save your time and money. The paper clips are exactly as described (good quality), and by purchasing them by the case (of 50), the cost can't be beat. Even buying in bulk from the other national retailers, you will not find a lower price (apples to apples).In addition, depending on the size of your office/company, a case of 50 should last you a good while (unless you have to contend with office supplies that mysteriously "walk out of the door" as we have dealt with over the years).

I hd been shopping for a large size paper clip at my favorite store for weeks but they were always out of stock, no matter how many times I asked the manager. So I decided to check Amazon, especially since I'm now into my second year as a Prime customer. In the process of looking at the dozens of choices I learn that there are 2 main components to consider: First is the size. The regular size is known as #1 and the larger of regular clips are called Jumbo. And the other issue concerns whether the metal surfaces are smooth or non-skid. You can probably also find clips are silverish or a variety of colors but that didn't become something I was concerned about. When I determined that I preferred Jumbo non-skid clips, i searched for the resonable deal that I ultimately bought. When they arrived, I decided that I don't need 1,000 paper clips so I gave 5 (100 per box) boxes to my landlord's secretary to repay them for countless free photocopies and faxes since last March. I gave some to friends and kept 200, which will last years because I usually use my stapler.The clips are exactly what I wanted and at a fantastic price and free shipping.

Acco non-skid paper clips are made in the USA and have deep, non-skid mark indentations. I previously bought some Made in China "Pal your paper, chill your work" clips and they are absolute trash, do not hold papers securely and are a waste of money. I need a jewelers loupe to see the very light marks on the China clip. Buyer beware!
