Personally I didn't care for this product. The vegetables themselves resemble small shavings; I prefer the #10 cans of their individual vegetables. Note that this product does not contain any broth like substance to form a stew. It's just a combination of mixed vegetables. But, oddly enough, my two dogs love it and I like augmenting their dry dog food diet with these real vegetables.

I am not a doomsday prep-er. I bought this to force myself to eat vegetables and lose weight. This comes loose in a big bucket sealed by Zeus himself. No need to buy a tool to open it. You need only patience. That O-ring is serious! It smells great! They are in tiny pieces so I don't have to chew all day. This stuff expands like crazy so 388 meals is about right. Add your own salt. I bought canned crushed tomatoes to go with mine. I'm am happy with the purchase.Edit: Best way to eat this is in scrambled eggs/ omelette
