As I Am Smoothing Gel Size 8oz (Pack of 3)

Have you heard of DevaCurl? Have you seen how expensive their products are? They have a _pair_ of products you have to combine that cost 3-6x more than this one product that's easy to use. Nothing defines and de-frizzes my curls as powerfully, simply, long-lastingly, and cheaply as As I Am's smoothing gel. My wife and I have been using it for about a year now on our curly hair (she has far more than I, and it is still able to work great on her volume) and it's one of our favorite and must-have products.If you have hair that's some kind of curly that you want to be defined yet not sticky/heavy with product, I strongly recommend giving this a try.

I have been natural since 2010. Started my natural hair journey as a product junkie! I purchased everything out there promising curl definition, moisture, lasting shine and hold with no sticky build up. I spent hundreds of dollars each month in search of the magic that made my hair manageable and beautiful. Then, I was introduced to the As I Am product line. This gel defines your curls with amazing moisture, and no sticky build up. Shine and hold for days! A little goes a long way, which totally saves you money. I have been loyally using ALL of As I Am's products (curling jelly, twisting cream, shampoo and conditioner, double butter, smoothing gel, etc) ever since. Enough said!

Smells great, Not a strong hold but gets rid of some frizz and no Oily feeling on hands. Rinses right off so everyday use is fine..

I buy this product at least 2 times a month. Unfortunately, it looks like it was discontinued. More than half of the jars I received are not sealed, 2 of them were not even all the way full and wrapped independently with bubble wrap. I doubt the authenticity of the item

I was at such a loss once I started having scalp irritation from a different product. I searched high and low and could not find a product that last for a week and give the hold, shine, and movement I was used to until I found As I Am smoothing gel. I love it. The downside is that the jars are small and I get 2 1/2 uses per jar and the product is not in any stores. So I have to stock up. My hair generally looks good for 7 days.
