Works great for an Ultimate 64 connected to a Ubuntu PC
I use this to upload custom firmware to an Ultimate 64, a hardware-based 64 emulator. The other side of the cable is connected to the USB port of a Ubuntu desktop PC. I use the driver that comes with Intel Quartus. It works great. I did have to get a better USB cable since my first cable was a bit flakey. Had nothing to do with the device, however. The USB plug was simply not a tight enough fit. With the new cable, it works well. So if you have any issues with the device, I suggest you first try a different USB cable.
