UPDATE: Googled to learn that satin is a type of weave made of Polyster! Decided to give this a chance and wore it. The BEST: so comfortable, stayed on all night, didn't hurt ears, no lines on forehead, adjuster clip is on outside so easy to tighten and doesn't get caught in hair, the satin lining extends to front edges to protect those baby hairs. LOVE. Wish they had more colors. If you're looking for the perfect bonnet this is it!!Old:100% Polyster? I'm so frustrated. Is this labeled wrong? What the heck...

It did keep my hair dry while I was doing water aerobics!

I was so excited about receiving this product. I had hoped it would help with my hair making knots(like birds nests) when I sleep and keep it securely. My hair is long all one length half way past my rear end. My hair is straight and my physical hair (real, as I have not cut it since 2011). I tested the product today and I did use the head strap to tighten it to hold firmly on my head. It held around my forehead to my ear area. The back (neck area) would not stop sliding up and up the back of my head. I tried it with my hair loose and tried it in a bun on top of my head (can't put a bun at the back of head as it is like laying on a rock). I'm going to purchase soft sponge rollers and put a small one placed horizontal at the back of my hairline to see it will block the sliding of the hair bonnet. I also thought about trying a small barrette and clipping it horizontal to see if that will block the sliding of the hair bonnet all the way up the back of my head. Just disappointed that for me with long natural and smooth hair it does not work properly and now I have to spend more money and time to try and make it work properly. I can see where it would work for someone with braids or hair extensions and the back of the hair bonnet has something to hold it into place. Not sure yet if I am returning it. I want to try the small sponge roller or a small barrette first to see if can stop the hair bonnet from sliding up the back of my head.

I love the Hairbrella brand and purchased this sleep bonnet after having my rain cap by them for years without issue.I'll admit the sleep bonnet is wonderful. It stays on, doesn't itch around your head and is big enough to braids, twists, dreads or even rollers. But in just 2 months the elastic is already stretching out. I don't even wear it very tight, but now I constantly have to pull it tighter because it's losing elasticity.ALL THEY HAD TO DO WAS KEEP THE BAND ADJUSTABLE WITH THE SLIDING RING THING AND NOT HAVE IT ELASTIC. It would’ve lasted for years. I really think companies do this on purpose. They do.I purchased November 29th, and today is April 25th. That's too soon. I'm not buying a new one every 5 or 6 months. I could learn to sew and keep "fixing it" but I'm not doing that either.Mind you, I understand why. If you use oils and creams in your hair, it's going to come in contact with the band on occasion. That's all it takes to begin the process of the elastic getting stretched out. I just didn't think it would be so fast.It was nice while it lasted but this is a no for me. I'd rather buy a whole bunch of cheap ones that I *know* aren't going to last than to purchase a premium product that doesn't last any longer than the cheap ones.They're made in China and they've already emailed customers that prices will be increasing.Don't you do it. Leave this one on the shelf. The ONLY thing premium about this bonnet is the price and the look.

I would like to say what a pleasure it was to work with this seller. I ordered a leopard print hairbrella from this vender about 2 weeks before Christmas. Because of the tight window until Christmas, I paid more for expedited delivery which was fine with me. The hairbrella arrived about 5 days before Christmas which was great…except for the fact that it was the wrong color. I contacted Hairbrella immediately and explained the situation. Fritche and Ja at Hairbrella were super! They went to work right away after apologizing for the mistake and were always respectful in their communications with me! When I arrived home on Christmas Eve my leopard print hairbrella was on my doorstep waiting for me to gift it to my daughter on Christmas Day!!! I don’t know how they did it but they were Santa’s best helpers ever!!!

It seems like a great product idea, but it the elastic band just has a rounded slip guard that just didn't work. It's waterproofing yet breathable, which is great. My issue: Every moment I found myself trying to keep it on my head while resting. Most times it was off by the morning. Maybe, my hair is too short, but the latch was always slipping and never tight enough. I ordered this about a month ago and I've already moved on to something else. If you just want it for coverage against moisture it is perfect!
