Needed a tool to brush our ribs with BBQ sauce. This brush does a great job. I've had some issues with a few bristles coming off. Not sure if this is expected, but I'm not a fan as no one wants to chew on a brush bristle while eating.Will explore other options, but, if no other options, i would buy another one as we generally have more than one type of sauce to apply.

It was really difficult to find a non-silicone basting brush, so was really pleased to find this on Amazon. We use it for our waffle iron and so far no lost bristles or rust.

And because I used it to paint instead of just put stuff on food, it wore out very quickly, but I can’t necessarily blame the brush on that. I didn’t use it for what it was supposed to be used for but guess what? It worked, and it actually worked very well and it lasted several months before it died out. So if you can handle painting, stairs and walls, I think it can definitely handle your food for years.

I am constantly picking up bristles from this brush. I have to really watch that I fish them all out of the food. I’ve used this brush several times and washed/dried it and the bristles continue to fall out at the same rate.

This pastry brush is soft and durable. It is a great value! I washed it by hand and it is clean and stays soft.
