Another wonderful tale from Abby
Having read all the other book in both SeaBreeze & the Rosemary Beach series it's lovely now to read about the of the children of those characters , and of course in some respects they are chips off the old blocks as it were . This book features Grant and Harlow' s child Lilia Kate who has a secret crush on Cruz Kerrington who is the eldest son of Woods& Della Kerrington . Lila Kate is fed up with her goody goody image and decides to go on a road trip ,en route she stays with Blare & Rush's son Nate and his soon to be wife Bliss . On her arrival in town she stops at the bar where she meets a handsome guy called Eli Hardy who we first heard about in the SeaBreeze books and again in Nate & Bliss' story , after a few too many drinks then go for a walk and the inevitable happens . In the mean time Cruz learns that Lila Kate has gone on on this trip and decides to go after her and of course nature takes its course and they end up in bed , What happens next is how their relationship develops she loves him but she knows he's a player but she's also developed feelings for the handsome reliable Eli but she decides it's more a freindship with him . Unbeknown to Lila Cruz has a big secret which if uncovered will threaten their happiness and as we know secrets come to light when you least expect them . If I have one criticism is that I would have liked it to be a bit longer but perhaps that's me being greedy .

That was heavy
I read it in one go. Didn't plan to-was looking for a book that I could do that though cause I haven't done that in a while. So, if you are looking for that 'summer read' that you just can't put down then you have found it. Once my iPad got to 5%, I ran upstairs to charge the damn thing and did did dishwasher at record speed so I could go back to reading. So buy it and read it.Fair warning though, usually I hate love triangles. I hate them because before in the teenage world of blockbuster trilogy's (you know what I'm talking about I'm not going to list them) I hate love triangles because It has always seemed to me that the most important thing in the girl's life is do I love him? Or him? It's the definition of dumb and unrealistic. Also, to me it doesn't seem like a secure plot line. Like I'm confused who she is in love with and I just want the author to spell it out for me already. Also, all book love triangles I have ever read are heterosexual. Here I really related to the girl. She doesn't seem shallow or superficial. She seems relatable. Your routing for her even if she comes from the 1%. And she learns that there are many kinds of love and that love is not simple. This book had more twists and turns than the river Nile. It was as complex as the saying goes " If you love her, let her go". Also the song by a country singer " I got the boy" comes to mind. You've got to read the book before you can listen to that song the same way ever again though.A really emotional book. Well done to the author. Its a certainty that I'm going to be buying her books again.

Beautiful story,
Loved this book, after recently re reading the lead characters parents story. It was lovely to read the daughters. Perfect story and in my opinion best man one the girl 🙂One of my favourite authors currently have 30 of her books and can't wait to had this in my paperback collection.

Abbi back to her excellent writing style
Abbi back to her excellent writing style. Great to catch up with now adult previous characters and also younger adult characters. Lila Kate and really wonderful character forgiving, understated and desirable. Cruz Kerrington a chip of the old block, but more of a manwhore. A fantastic storyline, well written, enjoyable and easily read.

great read
I love these next generation books for one thing it gives my brain a good exercise remembering the family tree. Love is never easy but I've yet to read a book where love cannot triumph over the trials and tribulations that living in Sea Breeze or Rosemary Beach brings. Fyi. Eli is so like his dad.
